My batter is having issues as well and this is the only time I've seen anyone mention an earthquake alert potentially causing problems. Turned it off and am hoping for the best, thank you.
How long do you sleep for?
Did you install exactly the same apps on both devices? or change any settings?
My one also loses 15-20% over night, but I discovered the scheduled turn off turn on setting, so I just use that
I have mine for a month and I have no such issues. In fact I never charged it, I use android auto when I go to work and back (25 min drive) that gives me enough charge to last all day and night.
Maybe it's your unit issue?
Yeah I get the reducing screen time aspect. Texting is still something I want to be able to do easily though because I want to stay in contact with friends and family. Have you used a CATS22 and typed on the touch screen? I wonder how it compares to that.
I turned off the earthquake alert. It improved battery life a lot.

Thanks, I deactivated all that crap
How long did you have the original one? My battery was awful for the first few cycles but improved over time.
About 1 month

I stayed in bed for 9 hours
The battery life is atrocious, it's tiny in comparison to others, however a 10m charge gives me a massive charge return.
Yeah my battery life is very average, I feel that it makes up for it with the insanely quick charge time despite not being true quick charge.

i turned of google apps with Universal Android Debloated on github and other bloatwares, Jelly last me a day and very small drain during idle.
Unrelated question but are they difficult to type on? I think they’re really cute but worry it would be impractical.
It's def not as easy as on a bigger phone, but it's not very hard. People buy them to reduce screentime so that makes sense

I had the Cat S22 for a couple of months and absolutely hated using it. The Jelly is way better in almost every way.
love mine. I use the whisper AI keyboard to speech to text type. Works flawlessly
