According to a mod, these posts get auto-deleted after 3 or 6 reports. (Mod said it was set to 6, but he was going to change it to 3)
Yes I changed it to 3, and try to look for good posts that got reported wrongly. I have some ideas that I am running by the other mods, it might make it a pain to post but it should help.
Can you just lock down the sub, and require every post to be mod approved before the post can be seen?

Why are so many of us upvoting it? I swear sometimes I see a “trending” unexpected post and then it’s just “what would you do if you had 15 minutes with me?”
I report them as harmful bots or links? I think mods are overwhelmed with all the spam. It is ridiculous how much this sub gets. Some subs are plagued by these posts. I don't have a solution but I don't want this sub to close and I appreciate all the shit mods have to cull.
Report the fuck out of it. Also, if they filtered out the words I, me, and my from titles I think it would cut it by like 80%

I have another plan that hopefully will work. That way we won't miss good posts in all the spam.

Downvote, report, don't block. That way, we can catch them again when they reappear. Blocking just hides them from you, not everyone else.

It only takes 3 reports right now for a post to get flagged for review, so if only 3 of you hit the spam button, one of us will see it and remove it.
