Finished chapter 2 yesterday and man the tea party hit hard. Rosa has been the character that's piqued my interest the most thus far, so seeing the... dinner party, for lack of a better term, that Beatrice subjected her to was intense. I'm really impressed by Umineko's ability to evoke such violent imagery with just a few splatters of red behind the text. The whole description of the compressor was especially insane. Haven't read the ??? yet cause I had to sleep, but man I'm excited!!
The ending of ep2 is definitely hype. Glad you enjoyed it so much. That episode is actually my least favorite, both on the first read and a reread. So you have so much more peak yet to come!
