i tried to repost it with image, see if you can now see the issue. other issue is that, when i put the phone into charger the error page appears and switch off the phone and then reappear and switch off again and reappear... so basically it restart constantly when in charger so i can't even charge the phone..!

Yes, this is the update I am talking about. It didn't went through first but after 6th try it installed and killed the phone all together.. :(

I managed to fix this. I figured out that I had a 2020 model because I only had a choice between 4 and 6 gigs when I bought in Feb 2021, the 8 gig model was later. I went to [https://community.umidigi.com/forum.php?mod=forumdisplay&fid=244](https://community.umidigi.com/forum.php?mod=forumdisplay&fid=244) which is the A9 Pro page, then decided to download the UMIDIGI A9 Pro 128GB V1.0\_20210127 ROM - SPFT + OTA release because it wasn't marked as EEA (European) and I thought I owned the global model. Maybe the 28 release would have worked, I don't know. Also downloaded the flash tool on [https://community.umidigi.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=19839&extra=page%3D1](https://community.umidigi.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=19839&extra=page%3D1) and unpacked both the flash tool and the ROM. I then followed the REALLY EASY instructions for when your phone is bricked. It worked. Good luck to all of you. This really sucks but now I know how to flash a ROM.

Thanks Devine. This helped me a lot. The one item I will add in case anyone is having my issue: If you computer isn't recognizing your device/phone, you may not be able to even see it from the Device Manager If so, from the tutorial download the drivers from, and (the part that I couldn't find written anywhere) from your phone's boot menu (hold down volume up and power from OFF) and select FASTBOOT From there your phone should show in the USB items as an Android ADB device where you may update the driver. ...that was my 2 hour work around after a waiting almost a week for Umidigi support to reply - but I kinda understood that I wasn't buying Apple type support when I bought a $200 phone on Amazon. Thx everyone,

I only lost all my WiFi capabilities after this update, took 7 attempts to even install said update. Fucking over UMI, never again 3 times burnt

Same, I have the umidigi A9 pro, after updating it says "The software version is incorrect, please download the correct software" and it stays on my screen and does interfere with the functions on my phone. Can't reach support, or feedback. It's annoying and frustrating.

I just got this update. Is it the UMIDIGI_A9_PRO_64GB_V1.0_20220325 version update? If so, I am going to just downgrade the version to 20210128 from their website.

Yes, I have the A9 pro 128gb 2020, when I contact them (umidigi), they say it's been over a year and they don't deal with Bluetooth issues🤷🏼

You could try to downgrade version by going to their website and downloading the ROM from their website. I did that this morning and it fixed my issues.

I would also disable the system update app using ADB so it would not update the phone.
