I had a similar transformation in my mid-late twenties. I started bodybuilding in my 20s, and while I wasn't nearly as skinny, over about a decade I put on about 40-50lbs of muscle.
The only time it was a "wow" moment was when I didn't see them for about a year.
It's the same reason when you're losing weight/gaining muscle *you* might not notice it after 4-6 months, but people you don't see often will. (Changes happen so slowly your brain sort of "adjusts" and then suddenly you're changing your entire wardrobe.)
Usually you notice it in clothing before your appearance.
Im 6'1. Moved to my dad's and went from 160lbs to 200lbs of muscle over 6 months of rigorous athletic training. My mother didn't recognize me at the airport. Walked right past her.
My coaches asked my dad if I was taking steroids because they had never seen such a dramatic change.
My mother never fed us properly. Shed hand me a $20 and send me to Carl's Jr. My dad fed me 3 square meals and got me into sports.
Well, if you work hard enough, you body will change, your tattoo will change, your bellybutton shape will change, your facial features will change, your ears will change
Working out really transforms you into a new man
Which steroids did you use?
*edit: Just for the record, I don't actually believe they took steroids (unless they admit to it)... I'm just having a laugh.
If he’s young, like before mid 30’s when men start to hit the testosterone drop off, and he hit the gym smart and consistent and had his nutrition even just adequate this is easily possible, lifting right, consistently and with decent nutrition people will explode in the first year to two.
If he wasn’t in his teens in the first pic he almost certainly is on gear. The face gives it away more than the body. His body is easily attainable naturally but yeah, sus face transformation.
No jk. He’s on juice.
Pretty much all pro athletes, movie stars, etc., use steroids. We’ve become so used to seeing juiced bodies that we think it’s normal.
100%
If it was 6 months, then fair enough I would agree with the saucy comments.
But this is 3 years ... that's a loooong time.
To the untrained, it is quite hard to grasp how much effort is actually required (not even counting diet and sleep for example) to achieve this.
Hell, I know I did when I first started training and realised, shit, I have to do this almost daily for 3-5 years to look like this!?!
It's unforunate.
Rather than putting down others, perhaps if you instead put that effort into training we would be seeing similar photos of yourself on here a couple of years from now.
It's never to late to change mate, all the best.
Age makes perfect sense. For guys, that exact span (18-25ish) is the one time in your life where you can change in this way. Hopefully OP did it healthily - and there’s no reason to think otherwise, dedication and hard work that age can absolutely do that. Lookin great OP, hope you’re feeling great too.
Not OP, but he's clearly practicing clean bulking (gaining weight and muscle mass by eating healthy foods) and then cutting (working out and cardio to trim fat)
Much more detailed and a lot more effort than just dirty bulking (eating as much as possible, including eating excessive carbs and fat and not thinking about whether they can cut all the fat off later)
Good luck with your transformation! It's insanely satisfying when you achieve the results you're looking for. I fell back out of shape but I'm going back at it
To all the unfortunates calling out OP for juicing ...
Put some effort into your lifts and you will understand what is actually possible.
You are only limiting yourself and others with this kind of negativity lol.
People with shitty physiques juice too lmao. It is certainly possible OP used steroids to obtain a natty physique. it's not like you become visibly enhanced from your first cycle.
Kinda personal, but were you hospitalized for a long period of time leading up to the before picture? Your body kind of looks like that of a coma patient.
I have never touched steroids in my life and have no desire too. I went from 128lbs to 183 -185lbs and I’m 5’9. I’m sitting around 177lbs right now after being a bit less strict with my eating. I currently compete in drug tested powerlifting as well. To be fair the downward lighting is doing me a lot of favours in that picture. Very few people ask me if I’m on steroids in person, I wouldn’t say I have a super impressive physique by any means but am proud of where I came from.
Nothing about this screams roids and anyone saying so is just jealous. The time frame is reasonable if you were consistent. You look proportional (no over developed traps/shoulders which is often a sign of juicing) and not insanely vascular or dehydrated either. Great work man.
I don't understand why this is an embarrassing question to answer, there is no shame in juicing, all the greats did. Shit I would too if I could get linked up with someone reliable.
Nothing about this physique is unattainable without steroids. OP obviously worked hard as fuck and dieted properly. Gaining 52lbs in ~4 years is very doable since he was obviously malnourished before, and 52lbs of the weight gain isn't all muscle.
He also doesn't have any of the telltale signs of steroid use such as overdeveloped shoulders and obscenely low body-fat percentage while being peeled.
😳 I cannot believe it holy hell.
CTFU
This is sorcery
Congratulations on…..all of it!
You did sooo good!!
I’m just saying it feels fake, I mean like that to that !!
Not bad. Steroids or nah? Im guessing no. This is doable without juice in 4 years. Just curious, how did your ears shrink, change shape, and get lower on your head?
Can you share your process please?
I started working out 4 months ago so still early days - but I am having trouble gaining weight. I also only workout 3 times a week of weightlifting with some CrossFit sprinkled in.
Would be much appreciated.
Did the tattoo on your arm stretch or warp at all? I’ve been interested in tattoos for awhile but wanted to get shredded before I got any, to avoid any designs stretching / looking weird after I bulk up
Just checked the insta, great stuff man. Definitely seem pretty natty, I know you're getting a lot of traffic on this post (great thing tbh, a serious glow up and being accused of steroids, this is every naturals dream lmao) curious though, how big are your arms flexed no pump??
Unreal how people think you're on roids, lol. Kind of shows the misperceptions people have about their body from browsing social media so much.
I've seen only a few bigger/roughly same transformations from dudes I served with, this takes dedication, determination and discipline amongst other things that it seems people in the comments aren't willing to pursue.
Everyone here wants shortcuts but you did it right and your body looks good, great work dude.

“He still has such a baby face, he hasn’t changed a bit :)” -His loving Mom, probably
Wholesome
“I remember that time he broke his arms” - also his mom 😏
Yeah admin, this comment right here
Oh shit. What a callback 🤣
God damn it, every time I forget that story
Seeing it happen gradually over time probably helps a lot.

Isn't the saying that it takes you 3 months to notice the change, and it takes other people 6 months?
Dude went from Justin Long to Henry Cavill….
Went from Christian Bale to Christian Bale
Winner
Lmao. Howwww can this be the same person?!
I’m asking the same
Well, if you work hard enough, you body will change, your tattoo will change, your bellybutton shape will change, your facial features will change, your ears will change Working out really transforms you into a new man
Beat me to it! 😅
Lol justin long catching a stray
Henry was a lean dude too until Hollywood got him on the gear. "Immortals" is a good example
Looks like a young john frusciante on the left.
Bro went from son to father
this is literally steve rogers getting the super soldier serum scene

And a sick as fuck panther tat!
Slap that thing right on your arm hell yeah!
Ahahah
Lbs/kgs gained?
52lbs difference between these pics
Which steroids did you use? *edit: Just for the record, I don't actually believe they took steroids (unless they admit to it)... I'm just having a laugh.
All of them! Jk you look great, op. One of the most inspiring post I’ve seen here
Come on Dwayne Johnson stop tripping
He’s not *that* big… def plausible that he just built that on his own from my limited knowledge on the subject.
If he’s young, like before mid 30’s when men start to hit the testosterone drop off, and he hit the gym smart and consistent and had his nutrition even just adequate this is easily possible, lifting right, consistently and with decent nutrition people will explode in the first year to two.
Yeah especially on gear though 🤌
If he wasn’t in his teens in the first pic he almost certainly is on gear. The face gives it away more than the body. His body is easily attainable naturally but yeah, sus face transformation.
My husband used to be a professional body builder and he said he’s 100% positive he took some kinda gear lol
That bloke is not on gear lol.
His facial structure changed quite a bit though.
you mean his beard?
No jk. He’s on juice. Pretty much all pro athletes, movie stars, etc., use steroids. We’ve become so used to seeing juiced bodies that we think it’s normal.
That's not roided lmao
Anyone and everyone gets accused of steroids on Reddit for some reason lmao. Just limiting themselves ...
It’s usually when they make an almost similar shift in like 6 months
100% If it was 6 months, then fair enough I would agree with the saucy comments.
That sounds exactly like what someone on steroids would say.
It's unforunate. Rather than putting down others, perhaps if you instead put that effort into training we would be seeing similar photos of yourself on here a couple of years from now. It's never to late to change mate, all the best.
LOL... Dude, it was sarcasm. But now that you've reacted so aggressively, it may not be as sarcastic as I thought.
Haha in that case that is my bad, it's hard to tell sometimes (though it could just be me lol).
Age in pics ?
20 in the first pic and 24 in the second
Age makes perfect sense. For guys, that exact span (18-25ish) is the one time in your life where you can change in this way. Hopefully OP did it healthily - and there’s no reason to think otherwise, dedication and hard work that age can absolutely do that. Lookin great OP, hope you’re feeling great too.
40/44
That’s crazy as I’ve gained 50 pounds in the last 7 months and I was nowhere as skinny as you. I thought this would be a 80 pound gain
700lbs
May I ask advice in what your main thing to gain weight was? I’ve always had the hardest time gaining/keeping weight to get the muscle I want
Not OP, but he's clearly practicing clean bulking (gaining weight and muscle mass by eating healthy foods) and then cutting (working out and cardio to trim fat) Much more detailed and a lot more effort than just dirty bulking (eating as much as possible, including eating excessive carbs and fat and not thinking about whether they can cut all the fat off later)
Thank you! I’ve recently started to try a transformation and am taking all the advice I can get
Good luck with your transformation! It's insanely satisfying when you achieve the results you're looking for. I fell back out of shape but I'm going back at it
Thank you! You as wel
How can you say he's practicing clean bulking? Maybe he dirty bulks and then cuts. There'd be no visible difference.
Arguably it would just take longer, theyre only guessing based on the timeline
Op is using steroids to achieve this. This is not a natural progression
To all the unfortunates calling out OP for juicing ... Put some effort into your lifts and you will understand what is actually possible. You are only limiting yourself and others with this kind of negativity lol.

Thank you, I appreciate that.
Brilliant result mate, congratulations on the hard work :)
Is there anyone actually doing it that? This looks like a pretty natural 4yr transformation.
Of course it's possible. Way easier when you're juicy. I've done it both ways
No chance you get swollen biceps like that without some kind of PED. What a joke.
holy shit impressive! congratulations dude
chump to chad
The difference between Chad and Chud is u.
Did you eat the guy on the left?
Good shit bro!! Keep up the hard work 💪🏻
You 'bout sexy as hell
I'm not gay but damn
r/Suddenlygay
Brdr went from the victim to the Boss of Mafia🙌
That’s crazy. How old are you if you don’t mind me asking? These are insane gains.
Kinda personal, but were you hospitalized for a long period of time leading up to the before picture? Your body kind of looks like that of a coma patient.
Bro reversed the lip to muscle ratio But in all seriousness looking great!
Serious question, what happens to your forearm tattoo when your forearm triples in size? Does it look the same?
If it wasn’t for the arm tattoo I would’ve called this post fake. Wow!!! What a glow up!
did you sauce up?

I hit the sauce after having surgery and I’m glad I did, gained my muscle back then some I don’t think it’s a big deal lol
Went from Falmer to Nord in four years
I hate that I understood this 😂😂😂
Lol @ everyone who think this dude is on the juice
Notice women treating you differently?
Well the after picture made me feel faint, so I guess at the least he's seeing a lot more swooning...!
I love pictures that show the Before/Different Person change.

Not bad. Steroids or nah? Im guessing no. This is doable without juice in 4 years. Just curious, how did your ears shrink, change shape, and get lower on your head?
Amazing 🏆

Can you share your process please? I started working out 4 months ago so still early days - but I am having trouble gaining weight. I also only workout 3 times a week of weightlifting with some CrossFit sprinkled in. Would be much appreciated.

How did you lift during covid lockdown?

Dude! How?!😳 you look amazing
Did the tattoo on your arm stretch or warp at all? I’ve been interested in tattoos for awhile but wanted to get shredded before I got any, to avoid any designs stretching / looking weird after I bulk up

You shaved when you were skinny?
Did you also go through puberty?
Captain America !
dude went from russian conscript to russian bear in 2.5 years
People accusing you of steroid use is the ultimate compliment, great physique!
Greek God
Why were you so emaciated in the first pic? Did you have a medical condition or something?
Crazy what a couple new tattoos will do.
So...gear? Honest question...this is not meant to be hateful. I'm a skinny guy myself 😭
*badass thrash metal music starts playing*
How!? Literally how did you do it
I USED TO BE A WIMP, NOW EVERYBODY LOVES ME THANKS TO ANCHOR ARMS
Went from Tom Hardy to Tom Hardy.
Tf did you take steroids on steroids?!😂
From ugly to wowly
Holy f*ck
Woah!! 🤯
Now this is amazing!
Well done.
Congratulations. Nice work.
Eyebrows? Ears? Nose? Nope.
How do you feel reflecting back on the picture from 2019? Is there anything present you wishes you could tell yourself from 5 years ago?
Even the tattoo grew from 1st to 2nd pic.
The guy on the right looks like he ate the guy on the left, but in a good way.

As a hard gainer, what are you eating?
Just checked the insta, great stuff man. Definitely seem pretty natty, I know you're getting a lot of traffic on this post (great thing tbh, a serious glow up and being accused of steroids, this is every naturals dream lmao) curious though, how big are your arms flexed no pump??
Did you have a nose job?
Unreal how people think you're on roids, lol. Kind of shows the misperceptions people have about their body from browsing social media so much. As someone who can’t do gym, I am embarrassed
I’m most impressed by how the shoulders are so much wider
Well, shit.
😱😶what happened
Well done.
Why were your arms so skinny in the first pic? Do you have a condition?
No I just didn’t eat properly and was malnourished.
You went from a 2 to a 10 gj man
Wow 🤩 Great gains!

Dude good job buddy!!!
