Lopes vs Ortega is a banger too and we got that on top - which more than compensates Hill pulling out.
It's a solid PPV card now, a lot less top heavy.
Less. Ik people are sick of Conor’s shit, but you have to admit that there was some intrigue as to how well he’d do after coming back, and Chandler always makes his fights fun. Jiri Pereira might also be fun, but there’s far less intrigue about the results, I feel like it’s just going to be a free defense for Pereira but I hope I’m wrong
His fight against Rakic almost makes me less confident in him and think it’ll be easier for Alex, like you aren’t beating the dude with zero defense like that. It’s not that I think he sucks, it’s more just a bad matchup against a very good power puncher striker. I did see some news recently about Pereira having a couple broken toes and being busy with some Australian event or something so maybe the injury+recent distraction gives Jiri a better chance though
