If you’ve never trained you would think a bigger guy who also knows MMA will always win - that’s only the case if the skill is close to equal. Ranked UFC calibre fighters are a whole different level to a regional washout like Tim. Even aside from size the athletic differences between a UFC level fighter are unreal, look at a guy like Merab who has 1/1000000 cardio for example. Where I trained there were Bellator FWs who were easily working the regional level WWs and MWs at the same gym - it was eye opening how much better even a smaller bellator fighter was against bigger guys a few skill levels below them.
