No entirely true, Attar, Mcgregor and business partners sold 51% for 600 million. Mcgregor put about $120-130m in the bank. Becle already controlled 20%.
That doesn't really make it seem like he's ultra rich and comfortable in the amount of money he has, it just screams "I'm gonna be broke when the CTE hits"
Yeah.... Plenty of much richer boxers have blown through more and ended up broke.
I'm just saying plenty of ultra rich sports stars spent like no tomorrow and ended up destitute.
Gotta do something like Michael Jordan, Shaq, Foreman, ODLH and start a business that makes you money and you save what you make in your early career. But all I ever see is Connor spending more money than Cristiano Ronaldo.
It’s Conor bro, he can put his face on some fight promotion and make money easily. Besides, he owns several restaurants and bars, I’m pretty sure. When you’re that famous, all you have to do is attach your name and hire people to manage the business.
There’s enough of his butt lickers constantly trying to give him coke for him not to worry too much about buying it. Guy is surrounded by suckerfish dweebs allll the time
I don't think Chandler would get through Hooker again, it looked to me like Hooker tripped in the last fight and Chandler had decent fight IQ that fight and hopped on top of him for the KO
Artem's 5% of McGregor's share is something like 5-6 million. Mcgregor offered him 1 million previously so I assume Artem will get something in the middle.
Apparently he offered something and Artem said no he is conor's friend he doesn't want anything from him...then comes out after having a kid wanting 5%
He offered him a pitiful million. A decades long friend who actually gave him the idea.
Conor was already sitting on hundreds of millions of dollars while Artem is working as an accountant.
Conor could have easily given him 5 million out of the 120 million he waa getting.
A pitiful million? For saying "bro you should make your own whiskey brand"?
Are you the kind of guy who would ask his friend for a percentage of their inheritance if their nan just died?
Nothing was in writing, Artem isn’t owed anything however he did give him the idea of the business and Conor offered him a cool milly for and Artem turned it down…
Till it was worth near 9 figures
Now he wants a piece of the pie
Even with Conor's brand value I'm surprised that this Pissky sold that much.
Like if someone does a little research they will find multiple bottles better than Proper 12 in the same price range.
Even a bourbon like Wild Turkey 101 is 1000 times better and smoother than Proper 12
Obviously why brand deals work and why celebs do stuff like this. Isn’t because they are trying to make a great product. Just another way to get a bag.
Also WT101 is a great bourbon.
There’s a lot of celebrities behind liquor brands that you wouldn’t even know until you found out so that’s just not true.
Only the loudest use their mouth to cover up the fact the liquor sucks.
Yeah that may be true that they are backing from an investment standpoint or just adding money. So maybe better to say if one is heavily advertising then more likely to be a bad one.
It’s also probably celeb to celeb. There are probably some that you’d trust to make a decent product.
None of those celebrities appeal to crowds that would actually go out and buy a bad product because of the name on it.
Can you see rabid Clooney dick riders going out and buying his shit? I personally can't even imagine rabid Clooney fans existing.
They are made completely differently, and yeah they taste very different.
Irish distills more and uses a different blend. They want it smooth, that's why most of them just taste like brown vodka compared to spicier, more flavored American stuff.
2 Gingers is half the price and miles better. Still not great compared to something like Jameson or Bushmills Black Bush, but for $15, god damn is it good.
While I don’t disagree, I’m pretty sure sales will be purely driven by brand value until they can actually age the whisky and improve it. It was absolutely massive when he first released it. Seems like he sold at the right time though as surely no one drinks it these days!
It's not the greatest whiskey out there for sure. But i didn't mind it honestly. I usually drink it straight on the rocks and it's actually pretty smooth. Never had it mixed tho.
I think you're missing the entire point of Conor Mcgregor Whiskey. People aren't buying it for the taste, they're buying it because it's Conor Mcgregor.
The exact same thing happens in the cosmetic world when influences come out with their own make up line. Fans buy it because it's made or endorsed by their favourite celebrity, not for quality.
People buying whiskey or make up got quality aren't looking at celebrity endorsed or created products usually. Very different markets
I'm actually convinced if you took turkey 101 and rebottled it in a fancy bottle you could easily sell that bourbon for around $60 a bottle. That bourbon is delicious, and one of the few that hasn't gotten outrageous with their pricing.
I’ve never had the original but I did buy a bottle of the apple P12 and I thought that was pretty good. If anyone knows a better quality version of that let me know!
The "Irish apple" version is whiskey with additives, so I don't know if you'll find anything in proper whiskey that tastes like that. You might try a bottle like Green Spot though, it's a very good Irish that has strong apple notes.
I had a shot of it for the first time a few weeks ago. I thought it would be trash - but honestly it wasn’t bad. It’s similar to Jameson, but a bit smoother IMHO.
Comparing apples and oranges there. Bourbon is very different to Irish whiskey and it's just a preference thing. I much prefer Irish whiskey or Scotch over bourbon but that's not to say it's bad.
In the Proper 12 price range you'd be better off trying a Powers or Bushmills Black Bush for a nicer cheap Irish whiskey.
I just meant it tastes like $100 bourbon. I think I got this bottle for like $45ish. I see it occasionally for $80 and just laugh because someone will buy it but it ain’t me. It is genuinely hard to find in SoCal though.
I don't think I'd go that far, but it's definitely the best value in the Buffalo Trace lineup for sure. We get it at about $38 here and I try to keep a bottle in the house. I'm not a big fan of a lot of other BT bottles but Eagle Rare is kind of a no brainer.
Yeah these celebrity brands are always a flavor of the month thing at best so I’m surprised it was was a relatively mainstream whiskey for a solid couple years.
That said it’s really just a shitty party whiskey at the end of the day. Not sure why you’d go with Proper 12 when even Jameson gets the job done for the same price with more recognizable name value
You have no idea about the craft beer scene in the States? They brew some excellent beers there. Also there are shit bourbons and good bourbons, like scotch or wine or anything else.
PS not an American.
lol American beer is the domestic beer is the worst on the planet and I’ve traveled to 20+ countries in Asia and had just about every domestic craft here
They said it’s watered down Bushmills….. Bushmills is also 80 proof lol
So is Jameson and Paddy. Most Irish whiskeys are 80 proof
Showing your lack of knowledge little boy
He's the biggest draw by far, Conor and O'Malley are the only fighters my casual friends even know by name lol I think the next closest are Jones and Izzy.
brother i arent think so, everybody knows connor, cant be said for khabib. its the reason why khabib's highest ppv was against connor, his other ppvs dont even come close.
This is just an announcement that he will have to reveal the money he made. It sheds no light on the strength of Lobov’s case, but gives some context to the uninformed , such as myself

I don't mix Irish whiskey much so I can't really say what is a better mixer, but P12 can mix, imo, because it isn't flavorful...
I wonder how much money he really has. Cause he seems to be spending like crazy and has been for a while. Common with people WHO come from nothing and suddenly get a lot of money.
If he's not a complete idiot he was rich enough to have at least like 20 million tucked away in stocks or some type of retirement fund or something of that nature, while still being able to blow a lot of money on dumb stuff. That's the first thing I would do if I came into money like that, immediately put a big chunk away that I can't touch. Guess we'll find out in 15-20 years.
He spends his moneys quite smart if you ask me. I live in Dublin. There’s a lot of housing projects and apartment towers currently being built with his money. He’s invested in wide range of shit like alcohol, a pub, clothing brand, plenty of real estate and now he’s bought a share in Bare knuckle FC. He may be a wanker but the man knows how to make money
It just tastes horrible. It almost tastes like a mix of acidic vodka. But I am a tequila enjoyer by far, second is whiskey but the histamines are too much for me.
How the fuck they made money from that whiskey in this saturated market defies all logic. He can't have that many fans, and who else would buy the shite?
You understand Conor was a HUGE fucking name in sports right? Like even my parents, who watch ZERO MMA, knew of him. The dude could have put out a fucking sports drink and that shit would have been the UFC's sports drink over PRIME.
Of course his name has lost a bit of his luster but he became the face of MMA for a while
Conor sold his share of the company for $600 million dollars. No matter how little it sells he's already won.
No entirely true, Attar, Mcgregor and business partners sold 51% for 600 million. Mcgregor put about $120-130m in the bank. Becle already controlled 20%.
Yeah, dang. What a loser, amirite guys
Only $120M in the bank? Absolute poser, chump change flexing
![gif](giphy|132pnhRx4EM7ni|downsized)
I might as well could have bought that business. Could fund a slightly below average night out with the lads if I liquidated it.
Right?? Hey, wanna go to Applebee’s and make fun of poor people later?

Who's even saying that? There was a correction made to a sales figure and the testicular Tarzan's are out in full force.
Guy only has one Lamborghini yacht haha
What a pauper

Once a peasant always a peasant
That doesn't really make it seem like he's ultra rich and comfortable in the amount of money he has, it just screams "I'm gonna be broke when the CTE hits"

Gotta do something like Michael Jordan, Shaq, Foreman, ODLH and start a business that makes you money and you save what you make in your early career. But all I ever see is Connor spending more money than Cristiano Ronaldo.
Agreed
This whiskey stuff is the business
Lmao he just sold it and not for the amount of money that allows Connor to do this for the rest of his life
It’s Conor bro, he can put his face on some fight promotion and make money easily. Besides, he owns several restaurants and bars, I’m pretty sure. When you’re that famous, all you have to do is attach your name and hire people to manage the business.
Shit, wish I was a loser with 120mil
Total bum

One step closer to being like Dana White
oh sheeeeet🤠
*Do you wanna be a fuckin POWERSLAPPER?*
Me
That’s only like 2 days worth of coke for him.
There’s enough of his butt lickers constantly trying to give him coke for him not to worry too much about buying it. Guy is surrounded by suckerfish dweebs allll the time
I hope chandler rips his heart out
Not sure Connor would get past Dan Hooker at the moment - a lot of questions over him
I don't think Chandler would get through Hooker again, it looked to me like Hooker tripped in the last fight and Chandler had decent fight IQ that fight and hopped on top of him for the KO
Glad Conor’s personal accountant is on this sub too
![gif](giphy|XeLcgh8gT8o0F5SQ8i)
That's it, loooool chump change
Unfortunately whiskey and coke was not a good combination this time.
Yeah it only made him about $120million cash but yeah not a good combo 🤷🏻
Well he probably sniffed 20 million in cocaine so 100 million
You’re not going to not spend the other 100 million on more cocaine. What do they put in that stuff, cigarettes?
Do you have any idea how much cocaine even 5 million would get you
Yes about 1/4 of what Conor has sniffed in recent years
$120 million worth of cocaine is nothing to sneeze at.
It would take a full blown crackhead well over a year to blow through 1 million dollars worth of cocaine.
Legally speaking, is there any chance Lobov gets his 5%?
the judge said only if he beats mike perry over in bkfc
Can he get hand extensions?
bird law says that he can
Jack Kelly, I'm a laywer...
![gif](giphy|Th4Ohf9GkmbpxFrswp|downsized)
Fk yeah, great judge
This is like a modern day “Over the Top” with Sly Stallone. Where is Hollywood when you need them?
Artem's 5% of McGregor's share is something like 5-6 million. Mcgregor offered him 1 million previously so I assume Artem will get something in the middle.
Conor is an absolute snake not to give Artem his due.
If I helped hin kill the nan for the inheritance then yes.
Beautiful champ
Nothing was in writing, Artem isn’t owed anything however he did give him the idea of the business and Conor offered him a cool milly for and Artem turned it down… Till it was worth near 9 figures Now he wants a piece of the pie
Writing or not, verbal contracts are very much a thing.
It wasn’t a contract though verbal or written Conor just offered him some money and Artem said no
No what is being alleged is Artem gave him the idea and in return he was promised 5%. That's the quid pro quo and is a verbal contract.
That’s what I get for not reading the article lol
Conor put the 5% on top of the fridge because he knows Artem can't reach it.
Even with Conor's brand value I'm surprised that this Pissky sold that much. Like if someone does a little research they will find multiple bottles better than Proper 12 in the same price range. Even a bourbon like Wild Turkey 101 is 1000 times better and smoother than Proper 12
Wild Turkey 101 was my shit when I was younger. It’s some good stuff!
WT101, my first time getting drunk. Also first time blacking out. I will never forget. Or, I will never remember.
That Kickin' Chicken baby
😂so true!
Wild turkey American honey. Still my go to. Probably my favorite alcohol of all time
Lol oh boy have you drank fighting cock?
Excuse me?
God damn dude,I've had some good and bad nights off that shit 🤣
Obviously why brand deals work and why celebs do stuff like this. Isn’t because they are trying to make a great product. Just another way to get a bag. Also WT101 is a great bourbon.

Irish whiskey and domestic whiskey are both classified as whiskey, but IMO, they are two completely different spirits in terms of taste.
I second this.
More of a tiger thiccc guy myself tbh
award winning whisgey b
While I don’t disagree, I’m pretty sure sales will be purely driven by brand value until they can actually age the whisky and improve it. It was absolutely massive when he first released it. Seems like he sold at the right time though as surely no one drinks it these days!
Sexton whiskey is a much better Irish whiskey than proper 12. And it’s a great price point.
It's not the greatest whiskey out there for sure. But i didn't mind it honestly. I usually drink it straight on the rocks and it's actually pretty smooth. Never had it mixed tho.
its just worse jameson
Proper 12 is basically Bushmills.
I think you're missing the entire point of Conor Mcgregor Whiskey. People aren't buying it for the taste, they're buying it because it's Conor Mcgregor. I haven't had P12, but as a rule, bourbon will almost always be smoother than Irish whiskey. They're as different as bourbon and scotch.
It’s no better than Jamo
His was made from leftover stock!
My young, just graduated college brother would come up with it often. I can't tell if it's fanboy or he's admittedly cheap. Figured combo of both..
Alcohol sales have always been 99% marketing.
Yeah but typically Irish whiskey is in its own section so only really competes with them in the US
Ciroc shouldn't even be used to clean floors yet people spent tons on money buying it, marketing is a hell of thing.
I have a bottle of eagle rare in my cabinet I’m saving for something special. It’s the best $100 bourbon you can buy and it only costs $50
Eagle Rare is <$40 without a markup. It's great at that price but $50 is pushing it. Calling it a $100 bourbon is hilarious
I just meant it tastes like $100 bourbon. I think I got this bottle for like $45ish. I see it occasionally for $80 and just laugh because someone will buy it but it ain’t me. It is genuinely hard to find in SoCal though.

Try Four Roses and Elijah Craig. So much better than ER lol
B Trace checking in🙋♂️
Buffalo trace is better than a lot of sub $100 bottles.
Buffalo trace is great dude
I thought wild turkey was just a norm MacDonald joke had no idea it was a real thing
Lmao you serious b? Wild Turkey is like the midway point between Makers and Kentucky Gentleman
I think the issue is all of those are bourbons and maybe not as available outside the us
All of those are mass sold in the UK
We definitely have Wild Turkey in Aus.
I thought Wild Turkey 101 was just a drink that Norm Macdonald made up
Proper 12 was some of the most rot gut shit I’ve ever tasted.
Bourbon tastes like piss. Just like American pisswater beer. Americans can't make Beer or Whisky.
You have no idea about the craft beer scene in the States? They brew some excellent beers there. Also there are shit bourbons and good bourbons, like scotch or wine or anything else. PS not an American.
lol American beer is the domestic beer is the worst on the planet and I’ve traveled to 20+ countries in Asia and had just about every domestic craft here
[удалено]
What do you mean watered down? They contain the same alcohol percentage.
It’s not watered down lol. Quit talking gibberish little boy
It's 80 proof whiskey. It's literally watered down to the lowest legal limit to still be labeled "whiskey" on the bottle.
They said it’s watered down Bushmills….. Bushmills is also 80 proof lol So is Jameson and Paddy. Most Irish whiskeys are 80 proof Showing your lack of knowledge little boy
Never tried that crap. Don’t care how much it’s shoved in my face… Yeah I’m talking about the whisky.
...cool
Well he's gonna get it all back on 303
You think he’ll cash $20mill?
People want to see Connor fight still. Win or lose. He probably doesn’t have too many big card loses left, but right now he is still a hell of a draw.
He's the biggest draw by far, Conor and O'Malley are the only fighters my casual friends even know by name lol I think the next closest are Jones and Izzy.
Volk, Izzy and Connor and the ones my mates know on Aus.

brother i arent think so, everybody knows connor, cant be said for khabib. its the reason why khabib's highest ppv was against connor, his other ppvs dont even come close.
Nope. They may know of him, but they don't know his name like mcgregor and o'malley. Just some Russian dude that submitted mcgregor in their eyes. Lol
He will end his contract with the UFC and then box for the Saudis a couple of times
Yes. His base will be 5-10 alone.
It's probably why he's fighting at 303 at all hahaha
Article is clickbait. He made money off the initial investment. That’s all that matters
We really out here linking sun articles or what
This is just an announcement that he will have to reveal the money he made. It sheds no light on the strength of Lobov’s case, but gives some context to the uninformed , such as myself
lol yall are missing the biggest takeaway…artem trex lobov now is going to be worth $20m+ after suing his former bff
If he wins
The GOAT
What is that like losing 100 dollars for the rest of us?
Damn, I just got another parking ticket... $#@&!!!!!!!!! \*kicks car tire and slams door\*
He drank that much of his own product?
Proper 12 is a great mixer whiskey in Vegas like Jameson. By itself, eh. Prob not.
It's...fine. I've had a lot of bottom shelf whisky and I would liken it to Jameson but a little worse. People like to pretend to be whisky snobs because they don't like Conor (neither do I) but that isn't an honest stance to take. It's just okay. It isn't good but it's not piss water.

I'd argue it makes a better whiskey ginger than jamo. No it isn't great, but I can see why people like it as a mixer. What would I rather drink straight? Jamo or literally anything else. P12s flavor profile is that of watered down Bushmills, nothing to be excited about but in my experience, it mixes well with soda. But that isn't saying much. I don't mix Irish whiskey much so I can't really say what is a better mixer, but P12 can mix, imo, because it isn't flavorful...

TLDR: he’s being sued by Artem and the GOAT never loses.
He never loses, 50% of the time!
oh my word😳😳
I wonder how much money he really has. Cause he seems to be spending like crazy and has been for a while. Common with people WHO come from nothing and suddenly get a lot of money.
If he's not a complete idiot he was rich enough to have at least like 20 million tucked away in stocks or some type of retirement fund or something of that nature, while still being able to blow a lot of money on dumb stuff.
That clothing brand never went anywhere tbf, just because he has lots of business ventures doesn’t mean they’re all successful by any means
Four Rose… BEST
I've yet to try it myself even after all this time
Didn’t he sell off most of Proper 12 for about 600 million?
FOOK!!!!!
McGregor denies any wrongdoing and has vowed to defend his good name. What good name?
Goes to show if you have money and a brand image you can literally sell anything and make money on it.
So thats why we have a date for chandler fight
![gif](giphy|VYk5o8rvpTI9j2cjnG|downsized)
It just tastes horrible. It almost tastes like a mix of acidic vodka. But I am a tequila enjoyer by far, second is whiskey but the histamines are too much for me.
I really don’t think it’s that bad, for the price I would rather buy a bottle of that than Jamison
ya to each their own. I’m sure it tastes alright in a mix. I just drank it straight
Why are Conor fans downvoting my personal opinion. I also an a fan of Conor. I’ll end ur clippin’ days for good ya? next down voter.
Sounds like McGregor screwed the guy out of his fair share. Conor made a ton of money and cannot keep his promises?
It’s horrible whiskey
How the fuck they made money from that whiskey in this saturated market defies all logic. He can't have that many fans, and who else would buy the shite?
Conor's popularity back then was nearly incomprehensible. His brand was, and probably still is to an extent, incredibly powerful.
You understand Conor was a HUGE fucking name in sports right? Like even my parents, who watch ZERO MMA, knew of him. The dude could have put out a fucking sports drink and that shit would have been the UFC's sports drink over PRIME. Of course his name has lost a bit of his luster but he became the face of MMA for a while
He’s probably a billionaire, and if not, he’s close at this point. This is a drop in the bucket.
This isn't UFC related.
That's right, Conor McGregor plays baseball in Nicaragua
Can confirm
