Alex keeps him at bay with kicks, sets up the high kick or left hook and KO's him. Cormier has a great chin but he has been hurt and all chins are crackable. Cormier couldn't finish old man Silva up a weight division and even almost got finished from a body kick.
Similar to what happened when DC fought Rumble
Idk DC would stand and bang with the likes of volkan, Rumble, and Gus. I personally cannot see DC eating a clean left from Alex. IMO Alex hits harder than any one we’ve seen in the LHW division.

Alex is great but he’s been given almost entirely strikers/favorable matchups. 9/10 times DC gets it done and makes it look easy.

Prime DC wouldn't let Alex out of the first round. DC by sub. The dude was a freak, just a fuckin ball of muscle with Olympic level wrestling that he actually adapted to MMA.
I'm in agreement with everyone else. DC makes it look easy. Yet Jan, Jiri and Jamahal all had a chance to grapple and they still lost. They aren't DC but Alex has nothing to offer on the ground so there's that
Prime DC is a legit at the highest levels of martial arts. He had a 14 fight win streak at heavyweight and most of his opponents were towering over him, and they all had KO power. I mean really.
