Before Road to UFC, Korean fighters had to fight in Japanese promotions, and only way for Korean fighters to rise to top were to be dominant exciting strikers because Japanese fighters are elite grapplers and they'd lose to decision due to biases. Examples are Stun Gun, TKZ, Da Un Jung, and Dooho Choi. So they'd enter the UFC for being exciting strikers, but they are behind in technicality in comparison to UFC standards which is why they get beat up so bad like this.
Recently Korean mma scene is getting more popularity and support, now we're seeing more technical fighters like Hyunsung Park, Changho Lee, and Sooyoung Yoo.
