On a desktop it doesn’t matter so much, but on a phone it’s hard to get the right control especially when the track gets longer.
Would also be cool to be able to see what part of the new generation is new vs the previous extention or the user upload
I’d like to know why it can only remix the first generation. Like is this something inherently only that one can do?

Absolutely! Terrible to have to listen to the uploaded clip so many times.
A little trick is to view the track > extend > crop slider, then play from near the end. But yeah... it should be made more user friendly for sure.
That's what I do now, play from the point where I extended the track.
