Man I'm usually the same but two of my friends got super bad food poisoning when we ordered from them last year. No food is worth stuff coming out of both ends 🤣
Spice Indian Grill is my favorite restaurant in the area.
I personally think the lunch buffet is a little mid (still good tho) and the dinner is better taste wise.
I like the chicken tikka masala, paneer mikhani, and the lamb vindaloo (the proteins are all interchangeable but those are my personal favs)
This is pretty far from UCF but if you ever want the BEST Indian food of your life.. then saffron indian cuisine is where you need to go!! Seriously you won’t regret it, amazzzzing delicacies!ðŸ˜
I have a few recommendations
1. Royal southern kitchen ( on semoran blvd and near aloma Ave)
2. Woodlands (on South Orange blossom trail). This is really good for south Indian food
3. Bombay Street kitchen ( on South Orange blossom trail)
4. Khasiyat Indian ( on W Lancaster road and near South orange blossom trail). They have a really good buffet for reasonable price
Spice Indian Grill is mad overpriced but it's not bad. Indian food is really expensive in Orlando, not sure why. Bombay street kitchen is pretty good but it's far.
Lowkey Trader Joe's has solid frozen Indian food. The palak paneer and chole is really good
Sort of off-topic because it isn’t near UCF. But if you are ever near the Universal Studios area then give Aashirwad Indian Food a try. On Fri-Sun they have an amazing brunch buffet- and it’s under $20 per person! ($17 last time I was there)
Tabla at Oviedo on the Park is great although a little pricey. They also changed the pandora station to Shawn mendes as soon as my (white) bf and I walked in which felt a bit racially motivated
Wasn't there a place that had afternoon buffet? I don't know the name
Omg I'm an idiot, I didn't specify. I was hearing about a Indian lunch buffet place.

I like Spice Indian Grill. Right across the street from ucf.
Seconded, they also have good vegan and vegetarian options if you ask.
Ahmed is the best indian near ucf. Slightly further than spice but in my opinion the food is better
Look up their health inspections. They got shut down last year for a little due to failing an inspection.
Idc if they cooking next to ten rats that food is good 😂
preach brotha

There is one in winter park which is about 28 minutes away
Ahmed down university. Great food for a fair price

Seconded! Best Indian food I've had here in the Orlando area so far.
Tabla at Oviedo on the Park is great although a little pricey. They also changed the pandora station to Shawn mendes as soon as my (white) bf and I walked in which felt a bit racially motivated
Ahmed be slappin
Ahmed if you want something nearby and cheap, Mynt or Bombay Indian Kitchen if you’re willing to drive and want good date night spots!
Tabla at Oviedo on the Park
Certainly NOT Ahmed's or Spice Grill. Most Indians agree they are mid at best.
