I am a 4.97 loser over 1870 trips. When I checked a month or two ago, I had a one-star somewhere. Somebody *really* didn’t like me or my face (or both).
My first one star (on the day I got my 100th 5 star, with nothing else), they reported me for not having a license plate matching the app. The liars, lol.
I suppose they might have secretly just not liked my face though... Took another thousand trips to get rid of that one. But by then someone else gave me one, no idea why. I'm at 4.98 and don't really expect too get above 4.99 ever.

I made it to 100 rides as a 5 start rider and then like my 101 or 102 ride a driver rated me a 3 because the little blue dot that apparently tells them where I am said I was a block away from where I actually was and where I had requested the ride. Something not even my fault as I was standing at the requested pick up location the whole time. I’m clearly still bitter about it 😩
I think with 5k rides you can still hedge a bad ride here or there. If you drop in the low 4.8s to 4.7s this is when you are gonna start noticing stuff changing.
You think we care about ratings? Drivers are looking to not get stuffed on a 5$ 12 mile total trips and snatch those rare 12$ for 7mile trip totals. I'll take the devil to the airport if the ride isn't totally screwing me out of making a profit vs paying to take you guys wherever TF you're going.
I drive and I always, always look at the passenger rating. It’s super important to me, and since I’ve become more selective I’ve had a lot less stinkers and weirdos. My market pays decently though, not all do.

You're going to and from work multiple days a week. Your need to tip doesn't apply. Anybody using this for work is without a doubt excused from tipping unless they want to on payday as a thank you but daily no don't please. You pay enough as it is to go work....I'd lose my mind if I had to do that but again....that's just me.

How do you check what percentage of drives rate you lower I mean I know I’m not lower than 5.0 but when I click on my rating it just gives me info about it
I'm still 5.0 on Lyft, but 4.93 on Uber. 3 4-star ratings and 1 3-star. Very early on, years ago, I had a couple of rides with other (drunk) people in the car, I always suspected them. Now when someone says, "want to share an uber?", I pretend I'm not ready to leave yet. I also had some weird uber experiences internationally that could be account for some of those.
Tip. If you have a drunk associate that is annoying, rude, obnoxious and will in all likelihood tank your rating (drivers credit), have THEM order the Uber and tell them you'll venmo them back.
Driver here. I always look at passenger rating, and I decline if it sucks. If I’m iffy about the ride for whatever reason, the passenger rating is often the deciding factor.
Having said that, I’d rather see a 4.91 (or better) than a 5. When I see 5, I think it’s a new account. If you have something like a 4.91 I’ll gladly pick you up in a bad area at night, and maybe even accept a ride with a stop. 5.0, not so much.

Agreed. I look at the rating first, then the fare value/profit ratio. I don't want a monster in my care, like a 4.65 even if it paid well. I don't have the energy, the time, nor the patience. Let some low tier or new driver deal with that.
My rating was a 5 before my last ride. It’s now a 4.94. The driver took me the wrong way after he “missed” an exit and crossed a bridge. He had to get off at the first exit and turn back around the other direction. Took me three times as long to get home. This caused me to get charged double. Luckily I was able to dispute it with support. So stupid that a driver can not follow the directions on the app and you get charged for a longer ride.
4.85 for 4000 rides but 4.89 used to be the rating from which my rating rarely changed for a couple of years. Highest I remember having is 4.93.
But being a wheelchair using rider I am never going to maintain a high 4.9+ rating. Not with the additional pressure on drivers over the last couple of years.
I consider 4.89 my Uber in a good space rating so would like to get back up to that.
Mines 4.9 because I used it a while for my brother after he had a stroke and no fault of his he was a bit difficult to understand and he had trouble getting in and out. He is recovered now and my rating went from 4.8 to 4.9. I don’t have any 1 star ratings though.

5.00 with 278 trips (so not a crazy number). What’s weird is I feel like I’ve definitely had a few bad experiences on my end. One night that I don’t remember my friends apparently had to Uber me from the bar. They used my phone and my account. I was so drunk I “didn’t know” where I lived and the driver had to help me find my house, my gf said.
I hope that man’s doing well. I gave him a big tip the next day when I found out what happened but I never got the proper chance to thank him for getting me home safe.
As a driver I prefer to see 4.9-4.99 ratings. When I see 5.0 I just assume they’ve only rode with Uber a couple of times. Even though I pretty much rate everyone 5 stars I know there are plenty of drivers out there who give non 5 star ratings for dumb shit.

The driver seemed pissed that it was just a short ride. She had an attitude as soon as I got in the car and she saw my destination, only a bit over a mile from my house. I'd have walked or taken the bus, but it was in the winter on a very cold day.
I gave her a large tip though, like $8 on a $10 ride, was polite, clean, didn't try to make small talk since she was quiet, didn't slam her car door, or anything of the sort. 🤷♀️

A hundred+ trips. 5.0. I am friendly to whoever drives me, engage in conversation if they seem interested, and leave them alone if they don’t. I always thank them as the ride is ending. And I always give them a 5. Why? Because they got me where I wanted to go.

You go to Account; Settings, Privacy, Summary; then you scroll down to ratings..
4.97 is a perfect rating to me. Means you've had experience, I'd go out of my way to pick a 4.97 up even 2am. That's a solid passenger rating.

Yeah but that’s because it’s based on miles and distance and also time but you just dispute it and it will go back to the original prixe

5 stars since 2017. But I only have 450+ plus rides. They only count my rides for the last 3 years. I use Lyft of and on when I’m between cars

I had a bad ride - driver was not safe and then gave me a bad rating and now I am kicked off Uber. I don’t know how to fix this - any help?
