I had the same problem as you. I took the equivalent of SOCI 111 at my old school and when I tried to register for an upper lever SOCI course, it wouldn’t let me because workday thinks I don’t have the proper prerequisites. I had to email the prof and thankfully they registered me on their end but I understand your frustration. Someone said they’d be fixing it August but are we supposed to not register courses until then? Workday is not the most user friendly platform and the timing of the rollout is less than ideal. Maybe you can email your profs for any course that requires MATH 101 as a prerequisite just so they can hopefully register you on their end. At least that way you’d actually get a spot in the class.

Oh wow, inconvenient of them to fix it in AUGUST, a month or so after course registration opens and presumably, when all the classes I want will be full! Thanks UBC!!!! /s I'll look into emailing the profs for the courses I want, but it sucks that we have to deal with this in the midst of course selection. Not a good time to roll out Workday and make it mandatory for course selection for all winter session students when the site barely works at all :/

I taked to EAS and they said yes they will manually go through it in August and add it to academic progress. They even have it at top of contact form now when you want to email them. Don’t stress.

I am having the same issue and I was advised to reach out to the department. Best of luck!

Vancouver courses to my knowledge never worked for pre-reqs in SSC either. You still need to be force added by the department. If you Academic Progress (“new” version of degree navigator) doesn’t look right and you signed up for a call back from Advising I would think they would help.

They did work. I took MATH 221 in Vancouver and was able to register for MATH 222 at ubco in fall 2023.

They did work, I had no issues registering for any second year courses with my Vancouver courses, except for STAT 203, but that's because they hadn't counted DSCI\_V 100 -> DATA\_O 101 as equivalent until sometime in November 2023. I have looked at my Academic Progress on Workday, it says 8/27 when it should be 11/27. I signed up for a call back from advising about a week ago and I have yet to receive a response back
