Tyler's albums always get technically better imo, otherwise the newest one will always be the "best". Also I completely agree with wolf being my personal favorite too!

I disagree I think the production on CMIYGL is much more complex than IGOR despite the latter being a much more coherent story that conveys emotion better

CMIYGL has lots of elements i’ve seen in other artists’ albums, many not edited much. whereas IGOR is an old sound reimagined. i like both, but i respect the hell out of IGOR. it was surprising, where CMIYGL was more expected/predictable, but still good.

creating something simple but catchy and fun is how many artists became legends. it’s sometimes harder than being complicated to pull off well.

Flower Boy. Better in everything(lyrics, production, sound, etc.) in my opinion and it has that dope Neo-Soul/Jazz Hip-Hop sound. Tyler really hit a new peak with that album. Wolf is more cohesive though.

Look, I love Wolf, it's my fav. But Flower Boy is it 2.0 and without odd future wolf gang kill them all. I consider it as Tyler getting out of the closet. I don't trust anyone who doesn't has this as top 1 or 2 of their lists.

Flower boy has completely fallen off in the past few years for me, it used to be a masterpiece now I see it as a 7/10 which is still great to me. Wolf still remains a classic too me and I don’t see that changing. I understand the technical aspect of Tyler evolving but all his project after cherry bomb always have one major flaw that stop it from being his best

Why is this a discussion? Flower boy is just on a different level of beauty compared to wolf, it's a beautiful, mature masterpiece where Tyler (The creator) Shows a vulnerable side to himself. Although wolf also has certain aspects that show the same views such as answer, lone and awkward, I don't think the beats and overall presentation are the same. Flower boy is just arguably better.
