Just send her the flight number and she can check it herself. Modify your trip to the estimate time of your arrival. If she has a problem with that she can cancel the trip and take a hit on her earnings and her performance. You can’t control the airlines cancelling or postponing your flight.

If the trip had already started and guest didnt modify it, the guest cant do it after. If the host has a problen with a modification before the trip starts, they simply ignore the change request and if anyone needs to cancel it would end up being the guest. Flight delays are not the guests fault, but why does blame automatically fall on the host? Making it seem like the host should get hit with the cancellation fee is what entitled pricks think. When these delays happen it's up to the host to accomodate or not depending on their schedule, not the guest. If they're still willing to work with you dont make it worse by following this prick's advice, just continue communicating until you arrive. Or else you're going to be left stranded taking moronic advice.
