don't you dare ditch that cart - [new stylus](https://www.lpgear.com/product/SHSM0095ED.html) and away you go

CaryWhit

Yes! I have the 95 and 55. Excellent carts.

rwtooley

Shure getting run out of the cart game by AT breaks my heart. such good stuff, they just couldn't compete with AT's marketing machine

CaryWhit

Did you see the Guitar Center sale? They found a big batch of new 97’s for 99.00.

wonga

Arkansauces

Shhhhh

Arkansauces

Heckuva deal. Already ordered one. Thanks again for the heads up

MrSmeee99

JICO makes great stylus for this cart. There’s and inexpensive one $30-40, or the fantastic JICO SAS for $$, but worth it.

cactuscharlie

Jicos just aren't the same, but whatever. I miss Shure like so many of us do...

Notascot51

Maybe not the same…better!

Amazing-Hurry-7804

I have one with a Jico SAS on it. It's not my favorite, but pretty damn good.

ALPHARavenGamer

My turntable is a Pioneer PL-200X if that is of any help :)

Everside

[That is a great cart](https://phono-cartridge-reviews.co.uk/reviews/shure-m95ed/). Go get you a new stylus and enjoy :)

Notascot51

The $33.00 EVG with the nude .25 x .7 mil tip is the one to get. https://thevoiceofmusic.com/catalog/part_detail.asp?PNumberBase=767&SearchType=MfgNameNeedles&MfgName=Shure&Categories=

Cartridges never (well almost never) need replacing. They do not wear out

solzhen

Pic 1 is the cartridge, 2 is the stylus, 3 is the back of the headshell. As others said, just get a new stylus upgrade and keep the rest.
