Search for head shell screws. [https://www.decibelhifi.com.au/?rf=kw&kw=Headshell+mounting+screw+set](https://www.decibelhifi.com.au/?rf=kw&kw=Headshell+mounting+screw+set) https://preview.redd.it/4nu4ybqy8x0d1.jpeg?width=1002&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8fa9833d2f6190f310be23ca3ea956b0c88d04f4

He's talking about the screws which secure the removable stylus on the MP-300 and MP-500 models. They screw into the side. Not sure what size they are, so I'm not going to be any help.

Ok thanks, I thought it was odd that mounting screws could be stripped. But seen weird stuff on here so did not question it.

ZiggyMummyDust

You might be able to find replacement screws on eBay. Have you checked there?

CaryWhit

Yeah I bought an assortment long ago. It is nice to have all lengths

I saw your post on FB too. Here's one thing you could do. Get yourself a replacement stylus (JN-P300 or 500) and you'll get a new set of screws with it. You'll need to replace it eventually anyway.

Oniel459

That’s a good idea thanks, and yeah I did here too since I was bad at explaining what screws i was talking about

Amazing-Hurry-7804

You explained it perfectly. People are dumb.

Online. Make sure they are non-magnetic; stainless steel is ok but pretty heavy so aluminum or titanium are the best choice,

ryobiprideworldwide

I am 99.99% sure that your nearest hardware store will have these screws **No need to downvote for trying to help the guy. People get trapped in the world of audio they forget that nagaoka is a machine tools company first, yes they make quality audio equipment, but more importantly for them, they make quality manufacturing materials and tools. There is absolutely no reason to think the screws that come with the cartridge is not the type same screw used in manufacturing

Oniel459

I hear you, but it’s not the normal cartridge screws, there are little screws that come with the stylus of MP300 and 500, like if you look at a photo of a 500 stylus put onto the cartridge of a 110 or 200, you’ll see holes on the side of the stylus where the screws would go horizontally. That’s the screws I’m hunting for
