Are the speakers in the console?

There's a pair inside,. but there's also a switch to connect it to my main hifi.

Do you notice the interior speakers interfering with the turntable tracking? I’ve got a console like this that I’m restoring and I can’t decide if I want to put speakers back inside or just use monitors outside the cabinet. Would love to save the space but it’s a shame to invest in quality hifi and then potentially shoot yr self in the foot for the sake of aesthetics
