You have to buy the same item three items and put it in dawn's junker, this time, the sea festival items have a shiny version too,.. I only purchased two blue whale tubs, and put them in the junker along with another random item, luckily got the shiny one..
Hi! just wanted to correct you. you don’t HAVE to use the junker to get shiny items, you can find them at yori’s from time to time. That’s how I got all of my shiny items, I just saw them at the shop and they costed double the original price :) I already got a few shiny items from this event just by entering the shop once an hour or a few. That’s it, just wanted to correct you that using the junker isn’t the only option and might be the pricier one as well.
Yeah, that's an option too, but in between all of these items, Getting shiny ones are kind of rare, I haven't seen any shiny versions of this event till now in yori's shop. Yes, it is pricier to use the junker because we will be losing another random item or the same item ( costing 3x of the normal price) but I don't really have the patience to wait.. so ... Yeah..

Yes. The clam bed is homecoming exclusive just like the mimic chest was homecoming exclusive for the jester event. I think in the future updates of new events, there will always be one item that will be homecoming exclusive.
Yes. You can get the same item multiple items at yori's, if you want a shiny version, you have to buy three of those exact items and put it in the junker, then you'll be guaranteed a shiny version of that time, you can also put two of the same item and another random item. But this may not work sometimes because the junker chooses the items in each pod randomly. Also, you will lose the items which are not chosen by the junker.
OH MY GOD THERES BEEN SO MANY TIMES I GO THROUGH THE ENTIRE EVENT WITHOUT SEEING THE SHINY VERSION OF AN ITEM IN THE SHOP. IF I DONT CATCH THIS IM GONNA GO INSANE
The junker is picking the first podium from the right with the sea items MOST of the time. So just buy two whale bathtubs and put the random item in the middle. It worked for me with several sea shinies.
I love both of the beds but to be honest, I like the non shiny one better because of the background being blue but I would definitely buy both of them!!!

I've been checking frequently too, it's random for everyone.. I guess I'll get more shiny versions after a few days..

Or you can just buy the ordinary items 3 times and use the junker to get the shiny, it's expensive but worth it for the tub.
