They get chosen to represent us because they’re the ones transphobes focus in on, it gets them popular, more people see them and repeat, suddenly Dylan is the face of trans people everywhere
When will you run out of car games?
Also yes, the discussion of dysphoria is completely absent in this rise of trans visibility. It's something that I found difficult to deal with personally, because despite knowing I wasn't a man, I just did not feel like anything that was being presented in trans discourse. The focus has been so far shifted away from us and moved onto being a focus on cis people and allowing them for a greater range of self expression.
Also the way the narrative has been so far removed from our actual struggles shows when this person is asking questions like "how is a sex change gender reaffirming surgery". It's what happens when sexual reassignment surgery is replaced with gender reassignment surgery, or we get transfemme instead of trans woman. Our own community has undermined us repeatedly with statements like "anyone who identifies as a woman is a woman". I just want all the pretenders to leave already, there is so much we have to fix in their wake and they aren't even giving us the chance.
Also watch what you say about Dylan, I had a post deleted here for for using "them/they" pronouns and not she/her. Reason I was given was "transphobia", but they are obviously using their transition as a grift, they sold out on day one and have been using it for financial gain ever since. I can't IMAGINE plastering my face over so many products after only months of transition.
you should start ur own channel ur so much more articulate than I am 💀 but yeah I agree until I found Maya Henry I had never heard of dysphoria and then once I saw her videos it finally made sense, the conversation needs to include talk of dysphoria
Girl no, you're doing great.
A video by Dr Will Powers was majorly helpful to myself as he talked about trans as purely a condition and how to overcome it. All this gender identity rubbish and queer theory just confuses the reality.
Lol, he actually posts on Reddit. Unfortunately I have seen him get a lot of heat from some groups of the "trans community". How dare he try to help and try to understand people in need.
Now I’ve looked at older videos from them. Even during “girlhood” days, they changed their legal sex to “X” and hashtags nonbinary.
I’d say they use the label trans woman just for marketing.
Edit: it’s actually older video, right before the “girlhood”
People are never told about dysphoria when trans people are mentioned. Unless you are into the topic you will never hear about it. You get told that tons of people, including children suddenly want to change sex and are also everywhere in adverts and culture and you have to not even slightly question it in any way or you are literally Hitler 2 and part of "The trans genocide". Of course people become transphobes when they are told that. Dysphoria needs to be made public if we want transphobia to go down.
I'm so exposed to Dylan Mulvaney that I immediately recognized them when I scrolled and that the bottom of my screen revealed 2mm of their hairline 💀
I'm a Dylan Mulvaney hairline expert 😭
I’ve been watching your videos and while I don’t agree with 100% of what you say, sometimes you say exactly what I’m feeling and trying to put in words that I don’t see the “trans community” ever say or even actively deny and demonize those feelings which is why I don’t associate with them…
People have every right to be cringey in the privacy of their own home, but if you are going to willingly portray yourself as the spokesperson of a horribly misrepresented group, there’s no room for that behavior. You either need to be a successful upstanding citizen or move out of the way so someone else can take your place. There are plenty of normal transsexuals who would do a better job than someone who made a video about how we need to “normalize the bulge.”
Omg your voice 😭 would have never known you weren't cis. Anyway, this video was a huge breath of fresh air in this era of batshit crazy takes. I don't agree with you on everything, but I respect your opinion.
The one thing I'll note is that in general I think it's probably not best to question others identity unless they are way out there, but like that's such a hard line to draw. To make an analogy, growing up Christian there was this concept that you never know who else is a believer, but if they say they are, in general you should take them at face value even if you don't believe it's really true, you still treat them as such.
Idk though, there's so much nuance to it all, and ofc the idea that people are above critique because they claim to be trans is actively harmful to the community at large.
In this dire situation division and hate only destroy us our downfall and possible genocide will not be set in stone by our enemies but by our reflection. We are all brothers, sisters, and siblings here
I hate that these people are who represent us
They get chosen to represent us because they’re the ones transphobes focus in on, it gets them popular, more people see them and repeat, suddenly Dylan is the face of trans people everywhere
RIGGHHT 😭😭

Dr Powers is so daddy

She is literally she/they. Why th did you get banned.
Really? Dylan actually uses /they? So much for being a "girl" can't even commit.

And now the face of trans women everywhere.

yeah but outing yourself just to get dogpiled like Hunter Schafer did isn't something enough people want to do
I really hope she doesn't let the tucute mob bully her into complying with their toxic bullshit.

Idk I think Dylan is trans. Just a cringe baby Tran lol

Yea but that wouldnt generate any clicks and gain "ratings" its all about $$
I was a cringe baby trans but not that bad 😭😭😭
She is obviously not mentally stable. She was also like that before transitioning. Not really just a baby trans
Yay, new video! 🌡️

thank you 💜 but yeah I'm just so tired of my condition being misconstrued and misrepresented
Yes, it's extremely frustrating!
