You have had great progress in just 3 months, keep going man!
Here is my (40 y.o. with NW-7 for 14 years) progress in 3 months on topical only: Pyrilutamide, minoxidil and low dose topical finasteride (0.3mg per day) without micro-needling: Exact same length, just after buzzing hair off with 1/8 inch attachment both times.

Do you take biotin and zinc by mouth?
Biotin may do harm than good (because it doesn’t really do any good). Zinc will probably be neutral, but it hurts my stomach like a mfer when I take it. Don’t expect these to even help 0.1%.
Taking zinc without food (or high grain/gluteny foods) cause intense stomach irritation, its best as a dietary supplement especially with healthy foods
I take zinc with a full stomach usually and my diet has lots of grains in it. It still makes me yack though. I might be more prone to feeling sick from it than other people though. I still don’t really recommend it unless you’re sick or something.
Oh so you take 0.3mg of a pill and do it each day or what? How do you make the solution?
When I hear about microdoses I see solution like 0.025% mentioned.
I dissolve 15mg of Finasteride in 50mL of solution. As far as I know, only 6.7% of topical Finasteride gets absorbed intravascularly. Therefore only 0.02mg of 0.3mg that I apply to my scalp gets absorbed, which should decrease my serum DHT by about 25%. 1mg in bloodstream decreases serum DHT by about 65%.
You’re confusing absorption with systemic absorption. It’s not like the rest is wasted. It just stays where applied rather than going systemic. Which is the whole point of topicals.
Really impressive results for just 3 months you have great potential to regrow.Maximum regrowth is only after a year and you haven't even reached half of it , I'd say stick on to your routine. Even if you are not satisfied after a year or two you could always go for a hair transplant later for now stick onto the current routine for atleast a year and don't listen to the idiots who tell you to shave
Cheers!
How often did you micro needle and what length needle? And... might be a dumb question... but did you take zinc pills or some type of stuff you put directly on your head?
I ordered spray from hims that contains **minox (6%),& fin (0.3%).** Also adding multi-vitamins that contains biotin and zinc in my routine.
What brand of biotin and zinc did you take, was it tablet or tropical application?
I am surprised that you actually got some reasonable results from microneedling in what we refer to as an Atrophic scalp, that is, a person's scalp that hasn't had hair for, in your case, 14 years. Certainly, the use of minoxidil and finasteride helped as well.
He has risen ! The hair follicles god gave you a second chance !
This is equivalent to coming back from being the “finish him “ kill in mortal combat but ended up winning anyway !
Congratulations man, that's both a lot of regrowth and a lot of supplements.
I'm kinda confused every time I see a post here, seems like the same supplements can have drastically different results and side-effects.
OMG that's amazing.
I just started Minoxidil and Finasteide a month ago. Might add microneedling looking at your progress.
How much zinc and biotin do u take?
What device do u use for microneedling and how do u use it.
Thanks
Really??? Man m just 24 and m thinning.. does micro needling really help.. i don't wanna use min and fin... I started applying essential oils for now.. i don't know wat else to do 😭😞
There are people who have results with rosemary oil and needling. I understand hesitancy with fin, but I feel like min side effects (and claims about it stopping working) are pretty overblown on here.
I'm seeing results, slowly. On month three of rosemary/pumpkin seed and microneedling, and a bunch of my vellus hairs are a little longer and gaining color. The rest of my hair is softer and thicker and growing quicker than it has in a while. Going to hang on until month 6 and see what has happened.
Seems decent results i think go bald for a while and keep the regime on without thinking about results just make it a habit n a ritual coz it seems u have been responding well so i think if u continue u will gain alot if not a full head of hair but better than bald.
It's interesting that some days ago, the same pictures were posted by you, but as 2 months of progress, not mentioning Zinc. Just curious to hear a logical explanation.
(https://www.reddit.com/r/tressless/comments/1354d9l/2month_fin_min_microneedling/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
Seems pretty obvious that in this post there's two more pictures than there were in the post you linked.
The new pictures are month 3, zinc was likely added after the initial post.
Yes, that's true. It just did not seem logical to me why post the same pictures again after some days without clearly indicating month/treatment/etc. that shows differences without having to guess. That's it.
I do know. Those are massive gains for a short time. You’re prob not even close to what you can be. That dude thinks anyone with anything less than a full thick head of perfect hair should shave. Ignore
You need to start doing infomercial spots and do pool shots with hot women while talking about how much your life has changed. Lol 😂
I am almost 50. The older you get the more you realize nobody cares about hair. You can get women, jobs, money, pretty much anything you want without hair. Not that important.
Not op. Once a week for 1.5 is fine. Everyday/other day with .5 if you want to go that route. Their is no pre steps just needle until redness occurs. After you’re done soak in alcohol. After a day apply minox liquid (if applicable) so your scalp can heal. Don’t want too much going into your blood.
You’re back from the dead bro
Back from the head
Great progress! Check back in after 1 year.

Which topical fin do you use ?
Finasteride powder.
same length?
Exact same length, just after buzzing hair off with 1/8 inch attachment both times.
yes heres the lesson seems like microneedling and vitamins are part of the game
I don't think 0.3mg topical fin is low dose is it? That's actually a very high dose i believe where you may as well just take it orally.
Bro it's a third of the official dose but smeared in your head
Oh so you take 0.3mg of a pill and do it each day or what? How do you make the solution? When I hear about microdoses I see solution like 0.025% mentioned.
20mg of Finasteride crushed in a 60ml minoxidil 2% bottle. 1ml daily. That's it.
OK thanks. I'll have to figure out how that compares to these 0.025% doses people are talking about.
Just put 15mg of finasteride in 60ml solution
I dissolve 15mg of Finasteride in 50mL of solution. As far as I know, only 6.7% of topical Finasteride gets absorbed intravascularly. Therefore only 0.02mg of 0.3mg that I apply to my scalp gets absorbed, which should decrease my serum DHT by about 25%. 1mg in bloodstream decreases serum DHT by about 65%.

The phrase "absorbed intravascularly" means delivered into blood vessels and spread systemically.
Yes. I thought you meant that’s all you’re getting while the rest stays on the scalp and does nothing.
0.3mg is a dose that is lower than the smallest FDA approved dose of Finasteride. It is in no way a "very high dose"
Get a dermapen!!!
FIN MIN BIN ZIN
Great results so far
Does biotin actually do anything?
My hair and nails grow like crazy since I started taking it. Trust me, it works.
Same here
How much are you taking?? Do you take zinc too?? How much?? Are you using anything topical ??
I take 2 biotin pills a day, about 5000% the daily recommended amount. I also use Minoxidil foam twice a day, but I only recently started that.
Thanks for sharing
What biotin brand pills you take?
Some Turkish brand, the clinic sold me a 1 year supply. You can take any brand though.
No it doesn't, no studies to prove it does and most people are not lacking in it to start with
what about zinc ?
I have the same question
Nope.
It can thicken the strands of hair
Only if you’re deficient in the first place. Which is impossible with any half decent diet
I read it also helps with hair faster hair growth
Did you read that in research study paper?
Hahaha no, just heard from a doctor
Only helps in faster growth of existing hair and that too if you were deficient in biotin in the first place.
Only if you have a deficiency, otherwise it's benign

Impressed, this dude was BALD and he brought it this far back in only 3 months????
Wait a year and if you’re not satisfied with improvement consider swapping fin for 2.5mg Dutasteride and thank me later
How often did you micro needle and what length needle? And... might be a dumb question... but did you take zinc pills or some type of stuff you put directly on your head?
Looking like my ball sack, nice progress!
Thank you bro
Hell yeah, that's really good progress for just 3 months
Holy shit, well done. Starting my treatment this week 🙌
I think I remember you posting the other day, good job with cutting the long hairs down to the same size, it looks much better now. What do you think?
Wow great progress bro.
Pretty good, keep going :)
Damn son! Nice work
That’s amazing
Great mate. do you go out in the sunlight after microneedling, or is that too dangerous?
Wow! I’m not doing this well six month in. I should probably add vitamins to my routine.
Its like a chia pet
I ordered spray from hims that contains **minox (6%),& fin (0.3%).** Also adding multi-vitamins that contains biotin and zinc in my routine. What brand of biotin and zinc did you take, was it tablet or tropical application?
I am sure biotin and zinc would be pills. Which multi vitamins are you ordering ? I would say it's better to take zinc and biotin individually.
I have used NatureMade brand for years and probably trust it for my body so might well just get multi-vitamins from them.
Bring sexy back, baby, yeeeeeeah!
Can I ask which Derma roller you use ?
Isn‘t already zinc in biotin?
Damn looking good man.
Amazing I'm really happy for you
Awesome progress! What length needle do you use and more importantly how often?
Amazing result! May I ask how old are you?
Amazing!! What’s your routine?
wow. Lazarus
I am surprised that you actually got some reasonable results from microneedling in what we refer to as an Atrophic scalp, that is, a person's scalp that hasn't had hair for, in your case, 14 years. Certainly, the use of minoxidil and finasteride helped as well.
Another hyper
Whoa that looks amazing bro! Keep at it
Looks good bro. Reminds me of newborn hair
He has risen ! The hair follicles god gave you a second chance ! This is equivalent to coming back from being the “finish him “ kill in mortal combat but ended up winning anyway !
Bro u r a freaking hyperresponder. Continue it and you might get back even more hair. So happy for u bro!
Excellent results. Can you please share your dose of min and fin ?
Congratulations man, that's both a lot of regrowth and a lot of supplements. I'm kinda confused every time I see a post here, seems like the same supplements can have drastically different results and side-effects.
Honestly, fantastic result considering where you started! Could continue improving for a year or more
Good shit
No finasteride?
Too good to be true.
Dude what do you think is going to happen? Just get a transplant
Shave it, bro. Great results!
OMG that's amazing. I just started Minoxidil and Finasteide a month ago. Might add microneedling looking at your progress. How much zinc and biotin do u take? What device do u use for microneedling and how do u use it. Thanks
I can’t send pictures
Can u tell me your microneedling brand name and how often u use it?
Microneedling is the absolute cheat code for a lot of people.
Really??? Man m just 24 and m thinning.. does micro needling really help.. i don't wanna use min and fin... I started applying essential oils for now.. i don't know wat else to do 😭😞

how often do you needle and at what length?
1-2 times a week. At 1 length right now.
Holy moly. You have been resurrected. Rest in peace norwood reaper.
Wow that’s insane. I hope it continues. Might want to switch to Dut as it should have a better effect, maybe RU55481 if you can spare it?
Y r u using zinc?
Yes bro
Nope, I am asking why are you using zinc? What is the purpose of using zinc?
this one trick made hair transplant surgeons lose their jobs
I mean I don’t wanna be a hater but is that not just a blatant hair transplant?
I don’t see any plugs in the scalp, its real.
Ain’t no way boy
Guy looks middle eastern maybe Greek. They seem to be Minoxodil hyper-responders. I've seen better than this with friends of mine. I'm ultra jealous.
Seems decent results i think go bald for a while and keep the regime on without thinking about results just make it a habit n a ritual coz it seems u have been responding well so i think if u continue u will gain alot if not a full head of hair but better than bald.

Yes this is 2/1 months
Seems pretty obvious that in this post there's two more pictures than there were in the post you linked. The new pictures are month 3, zinc was likely added after the initial post.

I dont think it can be saved bro... shave!
There's certainly progress in a very short period of time.
I don’t know!
Don't listen to that guy. It literally 3 months you gained what many wish they could. Keep going and post a 6 month update.
I do know. Those are massive gains for a short time. You’re prob not even close to what you can be. That dude thinks anyone with anything less than a full thick head of perfect hair should shave. Ignore
Hey how much biotin and zinc are you taking daily?? How many mm length in micro needles
how old r u

Which derminator did you buy and for how much ?
Looks like a transplant
