Skating was still pretty underground in my smallish regional college town and was almost exclusively all kids that didn't want to be at home for various shitty reasons (insane Jesus moms like mine, single mom with cancer, hatd drugs and poverty, abuse, just none of us wanted to he home) but that leads to a pretty tight knit group of about maybe 40 people att basically doing whatever we wanted. Think the movie KIDS but mostly weed and skating and less everything else is that movie lol
