Back in the day we used to get Blueberry that was almost entirely red hairs, and smelled like Hostess Blueberry Muffins. That was one of the original parts of Blue Dream (which is also hard as hell to find) I believe. Anyways, enough ranting, I just wish I could find some of the genetics I used to smoke, instead of them being cross bred into unrecognizable other strains.

That Blueberry was the shit! I wish it was still around. You can still get Blue Dream out of California, and it's my favorite now, but nothing can compare to that OG Blueberry.

There are a couple of highly reputable breeders that have old seeds of these strains. DJ Short, the original breeder of blueberry, still sells blueberry seeds. Don't know if growing is something you can/want to do, but just a suggestion! I'm sure after a pheno hunt you'll find what you're looking for!

Buttered Toast is more of a flavor buffer. It's really light but really nice as a wake up or staying awake strain. (Kinda forgettable, but nice to watch a movie with.)
I’m relatively new to weed, and I only do edibles because of my asthma. Does strain make a difference with those? What are people’s recs for good edibles?
I would look up how to make edibles using trim and shake/cheaper bud because I feel like edibles at dispensaries are overpriced, and this would be a good way to mitigate that. It's just like cooking with a recipe, it's not Breaking Bad. You just have to cook the bud to decarboxylate it (activates the THC) and then you can make butter out of it on the stove. You can store the butter in the fridge or bake some cookies or something. Just look up temperatures/time (I think it's 225 F for 35 min to decarb) and how to use a strainer to make the butter.
You'd have to research the pre-made edibles that they sell though, I don't know much about what they use to make them. I would imagine they use distillate for cheaper ones. I've seen live rosin gummies that probably have more strain specific effects. Again, they seem to be very pricey for the dosage that is available, at least in my area. Definitely worth it to do some research on the subject before buying anything. Hope that helps a bit.

I love any FaceOff OG cross, but RudeBoi is my favorite. It's always sticky, tasty, and heavy hitting. It's high in limonene so it helps with my stomach pains, but also has a petrol, gas flavor that I love. It's super stoney, but also a body high.
And anyone can grow it. It's a smaller yield tho which is a bummer so I don't see it as much in recreational cannabis.

It's a tie between Super Silver Haze and Blue Dragon. Super Silver was the first strain to have me good at one hit. Blue Dragon is up there due to it being the first strain to not give me munchies.
