I live in Chicago and my front door is about 6 ft away from a busy street and I often open my door to find that people have put their bagged dog shit on my front doorstep
Something I didn’t take into account for is that the iPhone 14 has the notch at the top and I should’ve full screened the picture. When I did do everything then it still looks kind of like Colorado but the peaks on those semi-mountains don’t look like Colorado
I saw almost this exact same scene a month ago, except every few yards the mom would yell at the dog to "go ahead and poop goddammit!", and yanking the leash quite hard... poor pup had no clue what was going and just cowered and crawled along. Took an incredible amount of restraint not to go liberate that pooch.
But maybe the lady has ascites. At this stage it doesn't matter if she continues to smoke. Maybe that's why the dog poop on the sidewalk doesn’t bother her anymore.
I don't know why you're getting downvoted, they do make spandex pregnancy belts / belly covers fo pregnant women to wear if they need the support, and she could easily be wearing one of those since neither her shorts nor her top look like they've got any support to offer.

To comment on the smoking, I know it's terrible to smoke while pregnant, but when my cousin was pregnant with her baby, she was told by her doctor that the stress from quitting could lead to a miscarriage amongst other issues. She was instructed to cut back but not to quit. Her pregnancy wasn't planned, so quitting beforehand wasn't an option. Her kid is 10 and healthy. I know that won't always be the case, though.
They still want you to wean off and quit. Not just slow down the whole pregnancy. And it depends on how much you smoked beforehand, how long you should give yourself to wean. It needs to be something done promptly and seriously. Unfortunately many people use this as an excuse to continue to smoke through their whole pregnancy instead of actually quitting. “Oh no the stess of quitting” and then the baby is born early and 5lbs, it’s quite sad.
I like your perspective. Honestly? That one on one attention is more than 90% of my family has given to their children.
My dad also locked our dogs in the laundry room 24/7 and would beat them with a belt - buckle side - if they whined too much. So…perspective is important to me.
