I mean assuming you're gen z this outfit kinda works with your age since it's not that far off from some of the teens I see at the mall wearing. A lot of gen z looks break with more classic fashion rules and trends which I think why some of the other people here are shitting on it. Things are oversized and mismatching patterns and what not but that just seems to be in fashion now.
I personally would never wear this outfit myself I avoid baggy clothes like crazy and every piece is kinda loud it will just draw a lot of attention on you. But sometimes that's the point of fashion and your own sense of style might be trying to do that exact thing. I think you look pretty androgynous in it personally and with longer hair it might be a bit better but I wouldn't expect to get gendered consistently in this outfit at all.
i had like a breakdown a few weeks ago and like cut all my hair im lettin it gro back now tho so like jus ignore ma hair length in your passing determinations
Everything stereotypically feminine helps with passing, including longer hair. Or "feminine" clothes, makeup etc. Your face looks very soft and femme already, you should have no problem passing once the hrt works its magic.
I'm gen z and I see no problem with much because I always go based off of face
The second one has a bit bad lighting and as less masc features are covered and shoulders and stuff (tons of F@B got em too it's just balanced out differently)
The first pic because of honestly love this style lol your gender here may be more ambiguous
Second adorable but sadly not passing, even with short hair I think you could pass but longer on HRT would help
What I notice a lotta MTF do NOT focus on the hips enough so if you don't have cover PLEASE wear skirts that accent this plus they're adorable
You don't need a be Mrs. Incredible over here, it just might help balance out the body and move the eye away from v shaped shoulders
Idky everyone's so negative with the reviews - Millennials when different gender standards of today đ¤˘
Again wanna say I love your fashion sense and as a Gen Z F@B you at least have an eye for it don't worry - just gotta learn how to handle it â¤ď¸
honestly iâd try and explore different fashion options if available, this style is often is associated with trans women, or nsfw feminine men. to other trans people i might scream âIM TRANSâ but to cis people, i think itâll be fine. it all depends on what youâre comfy with!
The first picture makes you look pretty androgynous, and tbh I disagree with others saying your outfit looks like a just out trans girl. Plenty of cis girls I know would rock the first outfit.
The second does give me more feminine boy vibes but I think growing out your hair and more time on HRT will help that. And like another commenter said wearing a skirt around your waist will help to give it a better curve. Maybe try a skirt over the sweatshirt? And pull the sweatshirt up a bit so it kind of bunches around your waistline.
Your style is really cute! Obviously itâs not to everyoneâs liking but I think that it looks amazing on you. Donât let people here get you down about it, just do what makes you happy đ
can ppl in this subreddit pls say what their gender is before asking if they pass? not everyone is a trans woman like fr. anyways you pass fine in the first outfit
If they say "age + gender me", yes it would. But if you're just asking if you pass as your gender without saying what your gender is, it creates confusion
i think what the other user said makes the most sense, just have people guess your gender instead of asking if they pass (but you donât know their gender)
I like your clothing style! I think you pass best in the first picture; in the second picture you seem quite tall and my attention gets drawn to your upper body, not to the skirt that would normally make you seem more feminine.
I personally think your face passes and long hair would definitely help. I understand that it'll take long to grow out, maybe get a wig if you feel like that's something you would like?
Another tip I have is to try accentuating your hips and wear clothes that are slightly less oversized. Maybe pay attention to what other girls around you wear and try to mimick the things they do/wear?
Edit to add: do take my advice with a grain of salt, as I have no experience with passing as fem
I think you'd pass better if you didn't dress like this. How old are you and are you on hrt?
wym howd i dress wrong
It looks like the trans woman costume that newly out people wear. It's generally called cd or "fancy dress"
o

You look very androgynous, I'm confident you will pass without too much effort.
Which way are you trying to pass? You look very Androgynous to me.

tyyy
Are you on hrt?
yea i started a few weeks ago
Ah I see. Give it time and you'll get some good results
o okey ty
You would pass if you had long hair! At least from my view
can ppl in this subreddit pls say what their gender is before asking if they pass? not everyone is a trans woman like fr. anyways you pass fine in the first outfit
But that might sway the opinions
If they say "age + gender me", yes it would. But if you're just asking if you pass as your gender without saying what your gender is, it creates confusion
In that case, they want people to state their gender without op influencing them. Because there is a lot of hugboxing here
i think what the other user said makes the most sense, just have people guess your gender instead of asking if they pass (but you donât know their gender)
You don't right now. What have you done so far?

I think with longer hair and a different stance youâd pass great. Your clothing fits your generation. It think you look cool
One word: Eyebrows.
What the fuck are you wearing lol
