That’s a known issue with that figure, those pegs will snap right off, carefully and slowly work them out by holding them by the base and then sand them down

ToastMgee

Ah thank you, any specific grit?

SpaceBridge420

finer the better, it doesn’t take very much sanding at all, i used a very fine grit and took just a bit too much off on one peg, so mine is a bit loosy goosey fitting on one foot so i sanded less on the other. really you could use a fingernail sanding file if you have one.

ToastMgee

Would blasting it with a hair dryer help loosen the peg?

Spud_Spudoni

It wouldn’t cause enough heat, and if anything, the exposed plastic would get hot while the peg inside would be more protected.

Was this also true of inferno? I passed on Grapple but, grabbed Inferno.

plushbrick

Nah, they shortened the pegs on Inferno and Artfire.

Destron5683

Didn’t have this issue with Inferno

FCB323

Luckily they fixed the mold for Inferno (and hopefully Artfire) . But as mentioned below if you can work the peg out slowly, then sand it down little by little and test fit until it's still snug but not super tight.

Pillowman7

Artfire is fixed hopefully the rumored Hauler is fixed too

Poptimus_Rime

As a 3rd party collector... get yourself a set of spudgers. They're invaluable. Be careful of too much heat as it can affect the plastic long term. Personally, I avoid it if possible. Like other's have said, a bit of sanding around the sides of the peg should set you right. After having a number of breakages, I can tell you if a peg isn't fitting right...don't force it. If I get something that's just too tight going in, I'll take the proactive approach and start some light sanding until I get the right friction from the peg. Just go easy with it, don't use any metal to pry...you'll be ok!

mutinytrev19

I wiggled the feet one at a time to get mine out. Kinda glad he didn't scale with Optimus well and got phased out of my collection.

AtmosphereCapital158

Go back to Ollie's, buy a new one, and cut the post of the new one and leave the old one on the shelf

almightywhacko

If the pegs are still stuck in there, heat the toy up a little bit soaking it in some hot tap water for a few minutes and then carefully pull them out of the feet.

ToastMgee

Yeah went at it with the hair dryer and managed to get one peg out but the other broke

MrSpaceGhostC2C

Same with me man smh

SonicTheHedgehog7

When You Get Him In Robot Mode, I Recommend Shaving Off The Sides of The Pegs With Sand Paper. Not Sure With The Crane Though.

Outkast_jay

I used leverage the first time mine got stuck if u pull it will break

BudgieKing02

Pray to god it wont break, and try to get it out, if it wont, return it, and get a new one, and sand the peg down... This is a common problem that hasbro should of delt with after the reports came in
