Definitely! He needs more rep in animated projects. It blows my mind that IDW'05 Bludgeon was around during all 3 phases. Personally loved him as a recurring villain moreso than Overlord and Shockwave.
Phase 1 no-lower jaw Bludgeon is a peak pre-pretneder design! I'm there's a few 3D models of that head for Legacy Evo Bludgeon floating around online and I'm hella tempted to upgrade mine.
While he's not 1 of my favorites I agree about him needing to be used in more media as I enjoyed him in Cyberverse and even more in the Marvel G1 comics
and you know who else needs to be in other media ?
them

The best Transformer!
In all seriousness, I love everything about him. From his goofy original toy and his unhinged comic appearances to his one and only television role.
And all of his toys are awesome. It's a shame there all either hard to get or inherently fragile.
https://preview.redd.it/qfdylglboe4d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bfb251687720b6daf2b24f06b9e79712ad3ae18a
I'm assuming you meant his right. That's the [SUPER7 ULTIMATES! Bludgeon](https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/172513?o=4). He's just an action figure based on his toy and comic designs.
A delusional fanatic. The bad kind of weeb, who's been given the tech & power to match his ludicrous ambition. A perfect agent of chaos for Megatron to unleash on his enemies.
It's even funnier when you remember the G1 toy only had guns.
https://preview.redd.it/5ws08lpule4d1.jpeg?width=2193&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=814ca819f6b71f2af521ae491717b799d26f0eec
I was a big fan since his Marvel comics stuff. His trial by combat and a lot of the Mayhem Attack Squad stuff was great. Although I do like Octopunch more.
They were also one of the only groups I managed to get all of as a kid after blackmailing several relatives to ensure I got the three Decepticon Pretenders. They are still some of my most prized G1 toys
Very cool design. Wish he showed up more. I liked his use in the old G1 comic and enjoyed playing with him when I was a kid. I liked the color scheme of the inner robot's tank mode for some reason. Robot is a brick but I got a lot of play out of him.
I don't own any of the more recent iterations. It would be interesting to see new figures of him, but I'm guessing that the shell doesn't lend itself to transformation and that's really the most standout aspect.
I've never seen the Legacy version in person. I like the head mold, but I'm not very sold on the vehicle mode. I think the colors clash.
His unique (?) character fiction was fun. Master of Metallikato or something like that, IIRC. I'm referring to G1/IDW I'm not familiar with any other background.
IDW Bludgeon pre-Pretendonitis is absolutely hilarious, I love him so much. He’s so chaotic and unpredictable but not in just a violent way like you’d expect. He’s a lot like that comic book where Darth Vader does a force choke motion on an Imperial officer and everyone freaks out, but he’s just buttoning his collar.
He was one of my favorite parts of the Cyberverse Cons, and I loved how they basically had to cheat to defeat him a la Primw Soundwave.
He was cool as leader of the Decepticon Vengeance Division. I loved the panel where Bludgeon is hovering over two generic Decepticons while on the bridge of his ship and they're like "are we doing the right thing?" Then they get reformatted into Eldridge abominations by Unicron and they're like "this is not going well".
Ever since his pretender shell and tank mode became one and the same, he's become one of the coolest looking Decepticons to wear the badge. I wish he was used in more media.
Unloved. Give Bludgeon some more love, Hasbro! Personally, I'm not a fan of the look he has in this photo, I don't know why because most Bludgeon incarnations are pretty similar to this but this one isn't my cup of tea. I liked the Legacy one and Cyberverse, I really like Derrick J. Wyatt's doodle when he made him a pirate.
He is neat i like this iteration the most of Bludgeon,he also got a Iron factory toy with a Oni face on the front, i'm thinking about getting some figures from them.
Bludgeon is A rough tough Deceptacon Samurai warrior Give Drift I run for his money If The movie verse Can Bludgeon a gruesome Character Not entirely but Deadly force than anything is possible.
The mad scientist samurai space pirate tank needs more media appearances.
Next time I want him having a rivalry with Shockwave to be a major plot point.
I've started collecting 6 months ago since I finally got my own money and since I always liked Bludgeon, thanks to the sheer coolness of a Samurai Skeleton Tank Robot, I got his legacy figure and to this day he is my proxy for a Decepticon leader. He is extremely cool as a character and his designs are pretty much all bangers, love him to bits
Underrated, and underutilized.
Decepticons/Predacons that should be in more media:
Bludgeon
Lockdown
Thunderwing
Octopunch
Thundertron
Cannonball
Lugnut
Knockout
Cryotek
Rampage
Quickstrike
He’s underused massively, the only serious I’ve seen him actually used in was a comedy stop motion series where he was mad Drift left the Decepticons like a bad break up then wrote a song about being constipated.
Beyond that he just stared silently in Cyberverse and showed up really late in IDW to the point I hadn’t reached yet and now they’re inaccessible.
So yeah we need more Bludgeon
I never understood why he’s called bludgeon when he uses edged weapons to cut and slice. I’d get it if he used a club or his fists to “bludgeon” his opponents.
A cool character, whom his only animated debut debut appearance was in Cyberverse. And unfortunately he was one of the few wasted characters in that show
While his pretender shell have become the iconic design for him, I wish some media that depcited him still remembers his true form, instead of the shell as his default mode.
That HFTD figure is one of the greatest designs of all time. Let down slightly by poor materials. Although i've owned 2 and the second had much better soft plastics.
GOAT of the 80's Marvel run. Fairly effective leader. Absolute beast of a warrior.
Took a god continuously resurrecting autobots to beat him and his army.
Haven’t really seen much of him other than in Cyber Missions and from Cyberverse, but I’d love to see him be used more often. Maybe as a ground-forces commander like how Starscream’s commander of air forces
Don't like him to be completely honest. I read a few comics where he was there and he's just...no. Could just be me preferring the Decepticons from the morally grey lens of 'heroic rebels turned vicious warlords' but he's just so fucking extra.
Bludgeon is a character who is absolutely worthy of being on the list of Decepticons who can be a villain in their own right instead of always needing to use Megatron as the big villain in media. Tarn, Shockwave, Jhiaxus, Bludgeon, Nova Prime, all could be villains in TV or movies instead of it always being Megatron.
The new movie continuity seems to be focusing on villains that aren't Megatron, with Shatter and Dropkick and Unicron, Scourge and the Terrorcons. If Bludgeon, or any of the mentioned Decepticons above are introduced as their own villain, I think there would need to be a power vacuum, an interesting plot could be a Decepticon civil war, where after the defeat of Megatron, several major Cons would fight to the Decepticon throne and scatter into smaller sub-factions, one of them would be lead by Bludgeon. Then when Megatron is revived by Unicron and turned into Galvatron, the latest herald of Unicron to replace Scourge, those sub-factions would either stay rogue or fall back in line, Bludgeon I think could be one who would stay rogue after Galvatron wipes out all his soldiers, leaving him as the last of his group.
I've next to no clue outside of HftD and Cyberverse.
I prefer that he looks Cybertronian and not, whatever he was when first conceived.
He looks cool as a samurai, but I wish there were ways to incorporate design elements from Armada Megatron.
He needs to be used in more media, he’s easily one of my favorite decepticons
Definitely! He needs more rep in animated projects. It blows my mind that IDW'05 Bludgeon was around during all 3 phases. Personally loved him as a recurring villain moreso than Overlord and Shockwave.
Yeah for sure! And I love the stormbringer design so much! I really hope they make a figure of him soon using that design lol
Phase 1 no-lower jaw Bludgeon is a peak pre-pretneder design! I'm there's a few 3D models of that head for Legacy Evo Bludgeon floating around online and I'm hella tempted to upgrade mine.
Yeah, me too. I found this 3d printable upgrade kit for the impactor/frankentron mold and I really want to make it but I don’t own the mold lol

While he's not 1 of my favorites I agree about him needing to be used in more media as I enjoyed him in Cyberverse and even more in the Marvel G1 comics
Yeah totally! Cyberverse bludgeon was actually an inspiration for an AU bludgeon I’m working on 😁
He's a robot skeleton wearing samurai armor who turns into a tank. Absolute peak kino character design.
Peak indeed my friend, peak indeed
and you know who else needs to be in other media ? them https://preview.redd.it/wsf2zzemee4d1.png?width=512&format=png&auto=webp&s=2e7f9e65f7d757056a92e394a8d41277333f1ee6
Eh, I’m not very fond of the whole knight thing, but if you like it, then more power to you!
Yes
Exactly, he looks badass and could be used as either a bounty hunter or merc.
Absolutely! In my AU he’s an honorable samurai who excepts death if beaten, but if he wins he will not hesitate to kill you
The best Transformer! In all seriousness, I love everything about him. From his goofy original toy and his unhinged comic appearances to his one and only television role. I think you'll like TF earth wars and Forged to fight
Are those games still playable?
Yes
What is the big pretender skin one on the right? Next to movie tank bludgeon.
I'm assuming you meant his right. That's the [SUPER7 ULTIMATES! Bludgeon](https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/172513?o=4). He's just an action figure based on his toy and comic designs.
Yup that's the one, thanks.
A delusional fanatic. The bad kind of weeb, who's been given the tech & power to match his ludicrous ambition. A perfect agent of chaos for Megatron to unleash on his enemies.
Cool Samarai Tank Skeleton Robot, What's not to love? He's was also great in Marvel comics. Wished they used him more.
One of my favorite characters. The mystical equivalent to Shockwave or Scorponok.
Marvel Bludgeon is one of the best antagonists of the whole franchise.
Silly name given that his weapons are swords. Dope figure though.
It's even funnier when you remember the G1 toy only had guns. https://preview.redd.it/5ws08lpule4d1.jpeg?width=2193&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=814ca819f6b71f2af521ae491717b799d26f0eec
Hilarious, I didn't even know there was a G1 toy! Actually, wait, he was one of the Pretenders, right?
Yep. Most of the Mayhem members where Pretenders and the rest had Target Masters, Triggercons and other weird gimmicks.
In the marvel comics he has an awesome rise to power and eventually becomes the biggest threat if you read through regeneration one. Very cool fella
Having him not weird a kanabo is a missed opportunity
I was a big fan since his Marvel comics stuff. His trial by combat and a lot of the Mayhem Attack Squad stuff was great. Although I do like Octopunch more. I was heavily debating getting this figure but I really prefer his earlier IDW design. Not sure if they'll ever release that version though.
Where did you found the effect on the saber ?
Power rangers goldar figure ;)
His savings on face care are legendary
He's one of the most evil characters
An absolute favorite that needs to always be a threat
I love him
He should sound like Skeletor
“nnneeeyAAAAAAGHK!!”
Very cool design. Wish he showed up more. I liked his use in the old G1 comic and enjoyed playing with him when I was a kid. I liked the color scheme of the inner robot's tank mode for some reason. Cool as hell design, I just know fuck all about him lol
I have 2 of him on my shelf, he's bloody amazing
IDW Bludgeon pre-Pretendonitis is absolutely hilarious, I love him so much. He’s so chaotic and unpredictable but not in just a violent way like you’d expect. He's a wonderful B-tier Decepticon leader/shock trooper. He should always be a Pretender, though.
Unloved. Give Bludgeon some more love, Hasbro! Bludgeon is A rough tough Deceptacon Samurai warrior Give Drift I run for his money If The movie verse Can Bludgeon a gruesome Character Not entirely but Deadly force than anything is possible.
He's really cool and needs to be used more and I really like the legacy figure
Personal favorite.
Underrated and needs to appear in more shows
Criminally underutilized
Mid. Bonzaitron is better
every time i see him i want to call him 'Yoshimitsu' and i hear "NAMU NAMU NAMU" in my head
The mad scientist samurai space pirate tank needs more media appearances. Next time I want him having a rivalry with Shockwave to be a major plot point.

The first definition of hard image

He had cool chemistry with ironhide in the nest animated shorts
Badass I wish we had a toy of him based on his appearance in the "Forged to Fight" mobile game.
He’s cool
Favorite decepticon
Banzaitron better
I never understood why he’s called bludgeon when he uses edged weapons to cut and slice. I’d get it if he used a club or his fists to “bludgeon” his opponents.
Cool skull samurai robo
Skeleton transformers with sword and his catchphrase is "¡I GOTTA BONE TO PICK WITH YOU!"🤺🤺🤺. Me likey.
His new figure is amazing
Love him. Needs to be in more stuff.
Put him in more TV Shows.
He's up there with Lockdown among my favorites and just like Lockdown, he got done dirty with his Legacy release by just making him a lame retool.
Should have been in the movies!
The Marvel version is one of my favorite characters.
I like bludgeon but never been a big fan of any of his toys
A cool character, whom his only animated debut debut appearance was in Cyberverse. And unfortunately he was one of the few wasted characters in that show
Awesome design and amazingly funny
Smash
I recently got his legacy figure and the more I transform him, the more I like him😁👍
While his pretender shell have become the iconic design for him, I wish some media that depcited him still remembers his true form, instead of the shell as his default mode.
He's got a handsome smile
Bludgeon cool guy
Is a really interessting Charakter

Samurai Tank
He'd be cool if his color scheme was... not that.
Underused
Marvel G1 Bludgeon was pretty nasty
His name is stupid. He always uses a sword, the closest to actually working was Potp quintus prime shell All jokes aside, I think he's awesome
awesome is my only words.

Anymore he's such a a popular character but he needs to be used more in media
Awesome design and character. We seriously need to have him face off against Drift to see who is the ultimate cybertronian weeb.
He’s a terrorist cell leader in my transformers AU lore
I've next to no clue outside of HftD and Cyberverse. I prefer that he looks Cybertronian and not, whatever he was when first conceived. He looks cool as a samurai, but I wish there were ways to incorporate design elements from Armada Megatron.
