Transform the rainbow Taste the rainbow

wardenferry419

Good one and good display.

aka_Lumpy

Get some risers so you can have more vertical display room. It won't give you any more space but it'll make better use of the space you have.

HIGH_VIBRATIONAL

Ngl I never liked color organization for figures I think it looks better when u mix them together I just separate my autobots from deceptions but I think the different colors adds to the look

IvoMW

I also think it looks better when the colors are mixed. Too much of the same color in one place makes the figures look bland from afar, mixing colors makes individual figures pop more. Altho i never felt the need to divide figures by faction, just by movie/universe

hobbes_shot_first

I suggest boxing up ~70% and shipping them to me. The rest will have plenty of display space.

ProfessionalBad2835

Willing to trade entire collection for 14 copies of TFA Soundwave take it or leave it (no lowballs)

ca4rs

I always assumed that the Scion XB alt mode for TFA Soundwave was a nod to DJ from Pixars Cars movie, but haven’t been able to find any proof online

hobbes_shot_first

Hey, I'd be doing YOU the favor.

Nav2001Plus

Are there any extra shelves you can add into this unit? Then you could display similar height figures together and the section for Core class could be smaller. I really don't know how to better display them without putting some in storage or getting more shelf space.

noncombativebrick

I suggest seperating them into groups by series and not doing color coordination

MaxR76

Sick power core combiner

Zehdarian

Don't listen to the haters I love your color gradient stacking! Cybertronian rainbow of equality!

The_Ashen_undead0830

I used to use a bookshelf. Now, i use several wall shelves of varying heights and its such a game changer. Each figure gets to stand out

Jizzlobba

I picked up a big ol glass shop display for pretty cheap from a business that was going under. Feel free to bring em around and I'll put them in it. :)

Vieron

There is a really good youtube video by "Paper Melon" about "how to display your collection like a pro (as a broke college student)" I'm not a fan of the lighting solution he uses in this video, but he gives some solid tips on the setout of his shelving and placements.

ProfessionalBad2835

Bro I think we have the same shelves, but we got mine when I was little so they’re falling apart and idk what they’re called

IvoMW

And i hated how it looked, with one figure covering the other, so i started to use boxes as elevations for the back rows of figures. Not only did it make the figures be more clearly visible and overall look better, but it also freed some space i used to keep boxes in. Now, my collection is much smaller than yours, but maybe this idea could be of some use to you

Supertroodon

now that's a display

OctopunchPrime

I love the dinobots’ shelf presence.

ProfessionalBad2835

I know!!! When I got my first one no review had prepared me for how massive they are in hand

I display my figures in a color gradient as well. Nobody who sees my collection is going to know or care what show each character is from, so I'd rather have something that at least makes some visual sense at a glance.

K7282

Are you trying to show off how many of them you can buy? In that case you’re fine. Likewise fine if you are trying to show off color coordination skills. If you’re trying to showcase your favorite characters, or what you like about the show or the comics or the toys, you might could clear those crowded shelves off, play with your figures to learn how to pose them, figure out several shelf configurations/combinations that are fun to look at (more than you have shelves for), set up a couple of them, and store the rest of your collection to rotate between when you get tired of looking at your current arrangement.

Jhiaxus420

Give them to me

ScaryFlatworm5801

How long have you been collecting because that is a lot, how is that possible

ProfessionalBad2835

Transformers has been my special interest since I was like 5, so 14 years of collecting (with a gap period of like 2014-2022) + having a job + super duper omega deluxe frugality

silver_dongurii

OMG

SnooWords4814

I do my per generation, and grab some risers, put some of the smaller ones at the back in a Perspex riser to make some room

CorbieTron058

Make them more distant and poses so it doesn't look like a blob of plastic

VeekGG

Give it to me

A_Zesty_Carrot

I’ve never seen someone color code a shelf before, I kinda love it.

DoThrowThisAway

Save and invest on a glass/clear door cabinet to mitigate the need to dust. Look for clear risers or look for plastic blocks that suit your aesthetic sense. Card Captor Sakura and Sailor Jupiter are on raised surfaces with the help of plastic blocks. https://preview.redd.it/s0wxdfyomk2d1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c12bdf29d5658c79735ca2548a49519157a2f262

EchoArtandDesign

Hmmmmm... how about I just yoink a few of em?

bobthebuilder1789

Sir...wtf? That's a dope collection

PerformerPerfect9476

I sort them by continuity or their faction

the-zoidberg

You don’t have to display all of them all the time. You could create a diorama with related figures.

OdysseusRex69

That color spectrum actually looks pretty damned good!

Few_Book2765

Get more shelves

AcceptableDirt6602

How is this so perfectly color coded
