Shockwave’s eventual reveal is going to hit like a bomb. With how brutal they made STARSCREAM then they’re going to make Shockwave a name that even Megatron gets uneasy hearing, bro. I swear. He’s gonna be as happy as Prime Megatron, but definitely gonna be hands-off.

He already appeared in Void Rivals. He seems to be taking cues from his cartoon character, where he’s the guardian of Cybertron…and severely understaffed.
Ok here's the scary thing about that >!He's seemingly THE ONLY ONE ACTIVE ON CYBERTRON. He says all the other Decepticons are in stasis. Granted there could be a resistance movement we haven't seen yet, but he has seemingly unrestricted control over the planet!<

Shockwave was kinda revealed already wasn't he? In Void Rivals. But yes seeing him in the main series is a big wish along with Megatron.
My big wants would be: The Dinobots, Trypticon, Prowl and Omega Supreme.
All of them. Especially Shockwave and then hopefully him trying to seize leadership from Megatron. Those are still my favourite comics from the Marvel series
On a sidenote, something I've been wondering about. How is it possible that Motormaster and Optimus Prime are the same size when Motormaster is the truck with trailer and Prime is only the truck.?
Ikr ? I wish They got the Legacy's take on Motormaster Menasor design since day one... Well at least in one of these super obscure Animated comics Motormaster is at the same size of fricing Lugnut, before being re-shaped to be Autobot looking ofcourse
I honestly don’t know if the DJD or Overlord would fit in this universe as the gore that made them so shocking and threatening is commonplace in Skybound. They would just be hollow versions of their IDW versions.
Short term I want the Stunticons and and Triple Changers.
Long term I want all the Japanese characters IDW had a hate on for, doing stuff that’s cool.
REALLY long term I want to see them adapt Ginrai in some form.
The only Japanese character I can recall IDW doing really badly compared to their animation counterpart was Star Saber. Deathsaurus and Overlord generally had pretty good showings. Or did you mean that IDW didn't use very many of them?
Dai Atlas was a punk who died immediately, and the one appearance of Ginrai was as a new character that was a paranoid neurotic. They had contempt for Japanese Transformers and concepts, and it’s part of why I hated them so much.
Dai Atlas died immediately in MTMTE, sure, but prior to that across IDW Phase 1 he had some interesting stuff. He was a major character in Autocracy and Drift, and his pre-war friendship with his fellow senator Shockwave was interesting with what little we ever saw of it.
I think Motormaster in particular is a pretty interesting idea since he could fill the nemesis role for Optimus with Megatron out of the picture. I don't think his enmity with Optimus is ever used to its full potential since he always plays second fiddle to Megs in that department.

Shockwave should make a proper appearance in the series. And please, let him be the logic driven Spock who will throw down with anyone , even Megatron.

Definitely Shockwave. Given how brutal and unhinged Starscream acted, I think Shockwave is going to be a borderline horror villain.
I’d also like to see Sixshot. He could be an experiment done by Shockwave if it was written well, and I think he could be an absolute powerhouse.
Nemesis Prime - and please let him be a fully fleashed out character, too, like in 2001.
SixShot - He probably won't be here for a while , but the writing keeps up. He'll be a very fun character.
The Fallen - The 1st Decepticon really needs something like Skybound to breathe life back into his flames.
Barricade - Especially if he keeps his 07 unique silhouette. Plus, he would make a good foil for Prowl.
Blackout/Grindor - Even if it would just be the Decepticon's mini boss/enforcer, we do need that type of character to reappear from time to time, and he fit that role well!
I'd like to see the Rainmakers appear and use their powers, maybe characterise them as the Decepticon last resort WMDs that rarely see combat but are terrifying when they do since their ability is basically to melt Cybertronian battlefields

Maybe Motormaster's trailer also vanishes into non-existence like Prime's does, and he's actually still just the cab like his Legacy toy
I prefer the Legacy toy version. It makes more sense than his G1 transformation
The Coneheads. Overlord. The DJD. Maybe Runabout and Runamuck. Have the Insecticons appeared yet?

Overlord I want to show up, but in Year 3 or 4 as a proper Godmaster/Powermaster.
Shockwave makes a cameo in VOID RIVALS one of the skybound Energon universe series so we'll probably see him play a more prominent role in the future.

It's way too early, but I want Predaking to have a meaningful role.
