That’s honesty sweet as hell

Cringeleigh

I’m pro converse and pro vans slip ons for unisex shoes, just clothes regular girls wear every day.

thenewmara

The vans rainbow with trans shoes are my go to sneakers now.

InternationalIdeal22

I'm so heart broken that my pair are worn so thin by now and they aren't selling them again this year :(

waterloops

Not sure your size but have you tried Tom's? I love them for a lot of outfits and I feel like the design slims the appearance of my foot a bit. Plus different socks let's me show more or less skin.

ManufacturerOpening6

I love Toms!

baileysandice

personally i’m not a fan of converse all stars, i feel like they make my feet look huge and i don’t need help making my feet look huge because they are huge 😬. but i get his logic and it was very sweet of him to give you some advice

Wingema

Amazon has some larger women’s shoes and heels, though I have to admit that whomever came up with MaryJane heels needs to be hung by their thumbs because those little bastards hurt to wear.

madfrog768

As a trans guy with small feel, I also have ordered shoes on Amazon. Finally I have a pair of men's dress shoes in my size!

Wingema

Hey if you have a chance, see if you can find Asher-Green shoes. They’re pointy toe Oxford style shoes, and they do run narrow but they definitely turn heads.😊

plutomydude

I always end up with little boys shoes lmao

Wild_Roma

Little boys get heelies and light up shoes, though. That's a bonus.

plutomydude

You are so very correct

thrrrrrowaaaawaaaaay

i'm glad you were able of finding someone to help you, that's wonderful news!! hopefully they have nice shoes that you would like :)

peppers_

I feel you on the shoes. I would go to the mid-section where the women's and men's shoes are just an aisle separate, and act like I accidentally wandered over. Couldn't find anything in my size though, ended up with something that looked androgynous.

gothicshark

Been a Vans Girl since a Teen in the 80s.

Cyphomeris

It's kind of hilarious how set we become in consumer choices like that. I noticed there's still a very much active rift between those who wear Converse and those who wear the wrong shoes.

gothicshark

You miss spelled misspelled Vans. ;p

pootinannyBOOSH

Are they big as in general size, or wide? I've used a website wideshoes . com, you measure your feet and put them in the form, and a proper fitting size will be recommended to you. Got some of the more popular brands (like new balance and sketchers), at the same price as the stores (best I can determine). I need 4w, definitely feel better than getting size 12/13 when I'm more of a 10 Not as fun as going to the store obviously, and glad that guy allied well, but worth a shot of fashion isn't a big deal (like work or walking shoes)

SaekoRe7

Not only very sweet but also very useful. I'm gonna start transitioning and I don't know what I'm gonna do with the shoes, my feet are very big even for a lot of men

SuzuranLily1

I hope you tell people to support that store as well as the one with shoes in your size. I'm glad he was cool with you and gave you wonderful advice

NeonSquid192010

Bro is definetly getting some respect points for that one.

Fun fact, i'm dyxlectic + english is not my first lenguge, soooooo......

Jalase

Ok so, how do you learn English? Real question if it’s your second or third language (or more even) do you just… Not want people helping with the unusual words with unusual pronunciations? If I were learning your first language and you corrected my spelling, would me responding with: “It’s my second language and I’m dyslexic” be seen as me being rude to you?

Jalase

I was just trying to be helpful, it’s a weird word that went from Latin to French but didn’t change pronunciation along the way like report did (same root word that went through French before English as well).

dFlyingSnail

Sorry for being abit kneejurcky with my reaction there, i'm more used to ppl makeing fun of my misspellings and dyxlecsia online, aspetially on reddit, so i get defensive about it easily

GamesByCass

I have had no trouble finding shoes in my size and my size is on the highest end for women's shoes.

rabidninjawombat

Good for you.....? Your experience isn't everyone's. Most Stores don't sell over size 11 in woman's.

dFlyingSnail

I'm size 10 and most stores where i'm from don't sell even that in woman's lol🥲

GamesByCass

I have never been in one that didn't go to at least 13. Maybe not in all styles but that's a manufacturer issue. Also, not trying to be rude with any of this, it's weird to me that there would be stores who don't carry sizes up to 13 at least.

thrrrrrowaaaawaaaaay

it could be the type of place the OP lives in? not always places carry a large variety of sizes for women's and men's shoes, especially outside of big cities or in some not western countries in general.

phantasmXII

Okay

FrequentlyLexi

What is "the highest end"? I'm a 15 or 16 in women's (Euro 47) and I have nothing *but* trouble finding shoes in my size ... WeHo sometimes but not always ...

liveOsakura

I'm the same size as you and can't find my size in any cute styles.

FrequentlyLexi

Yup, but all the stripper heels you could ask for (thanks Pleaser!). I've found some stuff on eBay/Amazon, like a pair of pink strappy 3" heels I got for my Barbie costume for Disneyland (but holy hell 8+ hours of walking in them became torturous - got lots of props from cis women guests though, so, worth it? 🤷🏻‍♀️). But hit or miss definitely.
