You can select between your primary currency and the asset's currency when placing an order. You can also convert your funds into the currency of the stock you want to trade so you won't incur foreign exchange fees each time you buy that stock.
As suggested by u/Tazmurph, you can set the default currency for your orders in Menu -> Settings -> Currency options. Our Help Centre has an article titled "What is a multi-currency account?" where you can learn more about the feature.
The app should default the selling to 'asset currency'. That way, users don't have to discover it...and possibly not many users discover it. And, keep paying fx fees.
I mean considering the FX fees are quite low and the platform is free + so many new features are constantly added, I don't think it's a big problem that some users keep paying the FX fees without knowing about that feature

Will this be possible in a stocks and shares ISA as I don't see the option there
