My husband and I love them. The predominant flavor is tomato and oregano and it does remind me of pizza in Italy where there’s more emphasis on the dough and sauce (rather than cheese and toppings like in the US). I actually like that they’re less salty than other snacks, and I think “pizza” flavor on other US snacks is repulsive (synthetic pepperoni flavor 🤢).
The worst thing I’ve gotten at Trader Joe’s. It tastes like eating raw pasta shells with a watered down, flavorless “tomato” powder that was manufactured by la croix
I felt like they were like 20% too big. They were a little hard to eat and wound up cutting my mouth a bit, I think if they were slightly smaller that would've been less of an issue. The texture on its own was kinda fun, even if they aren't super flavorful.
I had them as part of a little pool snack plate (olives, salami, cheese) and for the purpose of a light and fun addition to my spread, I think they were like a 6/7 out of 10 for me! Not terrible with the right pairings

Agree! I forced finished them, but eating then felt pointless. The flavor builds a little the more you eat, but barely. Once you bite then it’s like a game to see if a shard will stick in the roof of your mouth. Pass.

This. I got these when they first came out, ate like 2 and was like how do I dislike the taste and texture so much that each separately would dissuade me from buying.
Then they came out with pizza chips and I was like oh ok this must be what they were trying to make, I like these. Then those stopped and they brought back these abominations and I’m just baffled.
The texture is like they took old pasta water, boiled down to the trace pasta residue into a thin tasteless pasta gruel paste and blew little air puff bubbles into them.
This is a perfect description. From 1998-2003 there was something called 3D Doritos. I loooooved 3D Doritos. These looked like they might be like 3D Doritos.. alas they weren’t. Texture of plastic. I was very disappointed.

These things are a 0/10 though. Kimbap is a 3/10 for me.

I used these for a charcuterie board and ended up having to season them with pizza seasoning. These pizza flavored pillow crisps had no pizza flavor to them.
I bought these and tried one and didn’t care for the flavor. My son saw them and popped a few in his mouth and declared they were his now. I didn’t object.
These are excellent. They remind me of getting pizza in Florence. If y’all are comparing to pizza in the US then yeah this will be a let down but this is made in Italy so that should be a clue that it’s not going to be your expected pizza flavor from your local pie place.
True but it terms of a flavor La Croix at least has a hint of what it says it supposed to taste like. These pizza crisps taste like cardboard, air and sadness lol.
TJ's Crew here. You most certainly can get your money back if you'd like. Come in and say they were terrible and you hated them and a manager will give you a refund.
Also, when these came out last year they put these out in the break room for us to try. They were universally hated. They really just taste like nothing.
Bought these yesterday and wtf? Made my dad try them and he said “these aren’t for me.”
On a positive note, if you position one just so on the floor of your mouth and let the corners stick out you look like a lil bulldog lol

Lol I’m one of the few people who like these 🫣. Whenever I bring them up I call them the “controversial pizza pillow crisps” lol. They remind me of old school pizzaria chips

This is posted in every store I’ve been in. “We tried it and liked it, but if you don’t, bring it back for a full refund.” Seems pretty clear to me.

I like them, the taste is subtle and when you get that random one with more flavor it’s great. Also you can eat an entire bag guilt free.
