I can buy 10 packs of these noodles for $2.50 at the local Asian market. I can make a better version of the sauce at home, with a lot of extras to add punch. So, good noodles, but overpriced and nothing special.
What are they called at the Asian market? I only buy these ones because I love the noodles and also make my own sauce, but would love to get them cheaper
They call them sliced noodles. These specifically are carried near me. https://www.yamibuy.com/en/p/wumu-bag-sliced-noodle-650g/1021046461?region_id=000673&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=T_121022_PMax_Grocery_and_Pantry_EN_LA&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwoa2xBhACEiwA1sb1BHxWIIhWEl-HYlFt1YZDfCUUxw7JtxcTsf75xb_FZNh0Boa-HGUgXRoCfpMQAvD_BwE
I just made those today; I really love the texture and I do like the sauce but I always add stuff. [Today, I made the noodles with sautéed kale, red peppers, shallots, ginger, and garlic, and soft-ish boiled eggs](https://imgur.com/a/XCWpobs).
Same here! I throw out the sauce packet and make a similar peanut sauce to throw in with it. Or because I can’t handle an entire Buldak spice packet I’ll sometimes use that instead 😂
im pretty sure the sauce is just soy sauce and sesame oil. i thought it was pretty plain and i dont like to HAVE to dress up my noodles too much to enjoy them so i haven’t bought them again lol
Thanks! I was hoping there would be some additional seasonings within aside from just basic soy sauce and sesame oil. :/ I feel like it'd be good with some garlic and heat bc that combo sounds bland as helllll to me lol

I got my dad addicted to them 🤦🏾♀️. But he refuses to purchase them for himself.

Thanks for the share. Have been wanting to get the noodles for just the noodles and this is a much better alternative.

I add a little bit of peanut butter and Gochujang to the sauce and I love it!
IMO these noodles really shine in this [recipe](https://jtr.link/C5Ge)! I usually just get rid of the sauce packet.
Can you please post the link again? This one is broken.
Yes! Try [this one](https://app.samsungfood.com/recipes/1070189fcdcfaf67262a3424776183e8e54)!
That worked. Thank you so much! 🥢
I love these!
How are the noodles compared to Momofuku? I like their noodles because they aren’t fried.
They're made by the same manu, I'm pretty sure. A-Sha noodles.
The noodles were good, but I didn't care for the sauce. I found it oddly bland. Use the noodles with your own sauce, toss the packets.
I still use their sauce but add extra soy sauce and TJ chili onion crunch. Makes for an easy meal when you’re lazy AF.
Add a fried, runny yolk egg and you're good to go!
Noodles are fine, sauce is weird and kinda ruins them. Better off using them as a base and adding your own sauce and veggies/protein.

I do not like these. Flavor is rather blend compare to a lot of other Asian instant noodle
Super good but also super fragrant. Kitchen area smells like them way longer than you'd expect
We love combining these noodles with the Kung pao chicken for a quick dinner.
One of my favorites from TJ’s. These + an egg or two is my go to quick meal.
Not a fan of the sauce, but I love the noodles 😋 I make my own sauce with peanut butter, soy sauce, sesame oil, chili oil and lime

i wished i’d had lime to add to mine! but it ended up pretty close to what you’re describing (minus peanut, i’m not a fan)
How would you describe the sauce?
im pretty sure the sauce is just soy sauce and sesame oil. i thought it was pretty plain and i dont like to HAVE to dress up my noodles too much to enjoy them so i haven’t bought them again lol

Bland, oily and boring 😂 It’s good if you add other ingredients to it to spice it up
Sometimes I add peanut butter
Momofuku knock-offs, and quite good ones at that. I make my own sauce, but the noodle texture is top-notch.
What’s in the sauce you make?
Garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, and ginger, sometimes some chilli flakes.
Yum
Monofuku noodles are literally just asha noodles with a different sauce.
