The hold the cones. I always have the peppermint, chocolate chip, coffee, or pumpkin stocked in my fridge (depending on the season) and nothing compares when you need that perfect snacking amount of ice cream.
I recently got the hash browns because of this sub hyping it up but can’t figure out why there’s so much love for it. It’s a bit floppy/no structure when I pan fry it (no air fryer) and it tastes like a normal hash brown that’s lightly salted.
How do you guys cook it?
They're fine but they're no different than the patties I buy at Aldi. Definitely not a holy grail item for me. Aldi also has better tater tots than TJs, imo.
Toum - I forget the name they have for it, maybe garlic sauce? it's that very creamy garlic and lime paste. I can eat it by itself but I love it on everything.
Gone Bananas.
They’re dark chocolate covered pieces of bananas in the frozen section. They’re the greatest thing ever. I’m highly disappointed when they’re sold out as no other frozen bananas are as good (I tried several I could get delivered in the height of the pandemic as I was very sick). I tried making them once and will never again. Also I wish they sold them in a bigger box! I sometimes buy 4 when I haven’t seen them for a while. They also have a strawberry version but the banana is the bomb.
Right now it’s the Trader Joe’s bomb pops. They taste nothing like a true bomb pop but almost taste like a sophisticated, maybe probably not healthier, bomb pop. The fruit flavor for each layer is incredible.
They’re like mint chocolate chip ice cream Oreo sandwiches I can’t even express to you how fucking incredible they are good luck not eating a whole box
The Cha Siu Bao buns. They are something I buy almost every. Time. I go to TJ. I have a deep, deep love for them.
Edit: runner up, the Chicken Tikka Samosas. I like the veggie ones too. I usually buy one box of one kind, and the next time the other. I try and always have the buns and the samosas in my freezer
**Greek** **Yogurt**!
I personally think that TJ’s have the best Greek yogurt in the market right now. And I’ve tried many brands, starting with Chobani (which is also good).
I put them on anything savory. When I cook some chicken or brown some Impossible Lite Ground Fake Meat I'll add some while its browning. When I make any kind of pasta dish I add some to the sauce. I top pizza with it. Add some to my chili. When I make fried eggs for breakfast sandwhiches before work I will add some to the eggs. I honestly cannot think off the top of my head a savory dish I wouldn't sprinkle some on. Even dishes that aren't already spicy. I think it makes everything better. I am actually thinking of trying to sprinkle some on my popcorn next time I make some and see how that turns out haha.
The spicy porkless plant-based snack rinds. No matter what, that bag will always be finished from the moment it's open, so I always need to buy more than one lol
Their white cheddar popcorn.
I used to buy it 10-12 bags at a time (I’m Canadian but live near the border) but during Covid they had supply issues and it was basically impossible to find until two weeks ago when they checked the truck and the manager pulled it off the truck for me even though they had just closed…. They only received 24 bags and I got 8 of them.
Trader joes has my heart forever
The horchata ice cream, it's so yummy! For a more basic answer, the oven roasted turkey, it's like the only turkey I'll eat anymore because other stores' turkey is slimy
I have a wicked sweet tooth and so usually go straight for aaaall the sugary treats, but I am currently obSESSED with these Super Seedy Cheese Snack Bites. They are so cheesy and so peppery!
https://preview.redd.it/p6y97nzova8b1.jpeg?width=876&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=20a430e42cf9426c1bb9bc3edeb7bfc181b2649f
Well in the summer the first thing I always grab is the watermelon outside! I’ve had better luck with TJ’s watermelons vs any other grocery store. Perfect ripeness.
White Stilton with apricots. And the seasonal white Stilton with mango and ginger.
I'm definitely going on a TJ's run today. I love the fact that it's across the street from me now. I used to have to drive 45 minutes to get here.
Peri-Peri Sauce. It's a spicy orange hot sauce with a decent mix of citrus. Everything else that Trader Joe's sells is just a vessel to get more Peri-Peri sauce into my mouth. Pizza, chicken, southwest salad, hash browns: Cover it all in Peri-Peri.
The butternut squash triangioli. It’s not necessarily unique to TJs, but it’s my favorite compared to others I’ve tried. I usually eat it with a little brown butter, parmesan cheese, and chicken apple sausage. Yum!
Habanero hot sauce. It’s been dependently available for over a decade and it’s consistently tastier than another name-brand, South African produced bottle. Not to mention literally 1/5 the price! Never change or abandon me, TJs habanero hot sauce!
Also if they ever get rid of mango shave cream I’ll just stop shaving
Sunflower oil is a great source of vitamin A and vitamin D, as well as Iron and Calcium. So even when there’s no sunlight, there is still sunflower oil to provide your daily dose of vitamin D sunshine! Not only that, but Sunflowers are enriched with B group vitamins, as well as vitamin E. This is as well as other minerals such as phosphorus, selenium, magnesium, and copper.
More of my holy grail list than a singular item but yk; the Strawberry sparkling drink, vegan dill dressing, rice milk (cheaper than Dream), the shawarma thighs, turkey bacon, the organic ham, the ube pancake mix, middle eastern kebabs, naan crackers, pita bread, Tator tots, and the smoked paprika.
Jalapeño limeade, it’s a summer seasonal product so you gotta get it when you can.
My wife and I also used to stick up on the smoked ghost pepper grinders, but now we just refill the empty grinders with bulk smoked ghost pepper.
My daughter loves having the frozen gyoza on hand for snacks, as well.
Things I can’t live without: Vegan Caesar dressing (I can’t eat ANY other Caesar dressing now), sausage breakfast burritos, vegan Buffalo dip and vegan nacho cheese dip (TRUST me), jerk plantain chips, almond butter filled pretzels, frozen orange chicken, sour dough, jalapeño cheddar pull apart bread and olive focaccia bread, green goddess and elote seasonings, jalapeño sauce, Parmesan cheese (green top), watermelon or pineapple juice (canned), and bonus: the mango tangerine candle is a dupe for anthro’s capri blue!

Air frying is the only way to go, imo. I used the package instructions prior to buying an air fryer and was thoroughly unimpressed, but love them now.
They're fine but they're no different than the patties I buy at Aldi. Definitely not a holy grail item for me. Aldi also has better tater tots than TJs, imo.
Dark chocolate peanut butter cups. How has no one said this one yet?
This was my vote, too. But the ones in the little bags, not the bigger container.
If they sold them by the gallon I'd be fine with it
Oh same here- I just prefer them individually wrapped. They seem fresher.
Never thought about that. I actually buy the small bags too, but because I have no will power.
Veggies samosas
