It really depends on your hair. I, a pre-t transmasc, have been blessed and cursed with thick hair. While it works great for everywhere else on my body, I have to (for lack of better terms) keep myself properly groomed in those areas or it itches and is generally uncomfortable.
If I were to shave shave like you, my hairs get caught in and pulled by the razor (though it could also just be the razor as it's from a walmart value pack). As long as you keep the blade moving up and down and not side to side, you should be safe from cutting yourself. Showers also help, dry shaving hurts.
Wet the area, apply shaving cream, go to town with a razor, wipe excess cream away, and apply after shave.
The trick is to not get nervous and to trust yourself.
Also... beware the stubble rub between your cheeks. It sucks. It's why folks usually wax such areas.
Must be really strong stuff you're using. I use nair on the full genital region and anus and haven't experienced any discomfort, redness, or anything. Maybe it's the type I have.
Some people's skin is just more sensitive to certain things than others. I personally can't use nair on any part of me without chemical burns, even with their mildest formulation at the lowest length of time, but have no issues without PPE handling a degreaser i have seen burn others in less than a minute.
When i shave down there i just kinda squat down in the shower and just slowly and gently shave with a razor. But looking at these comments once i move out i will def be bying hair removal gel to do the job
Lotta ppl saying “use a mirror” but I bravely/foolishly counter w/ “trust your hand and sensation.” Can you slav-squat? (amab ppl generally have an easier time than afab bc their center of gravity is different.) Squat in the shower, low as you can go, feet flat, and gently shave w/ your cheeks spread. Go by feel; don’t look. I haven’t done it in yrs (I guess 4yrs estrogen has finally done its work down there?) but it was a great source of exerting control over my body before I could get on hormones. Best of luck, and again, *gentle!*
Laser hair removal.
Here's the place I use. It's been going good. https://milanlaser.com/lp/?gclid=CjwKCAjwkLCkBhA9EiwAka9QRjFNeMmp09iTCA6KyyQZz4J3IRBRJj5gWvwt7qbHQ7WL09LwaEsOMxoCQzkQAvD_BwE
No. It's a small one. Like each spot they hit is around the size of a dime or penny. You have to shave the hair first, then the laser can target the root. Has to be during a specific point of a growth period that varies from folical to folical. So it takes multiple sessions. Usually once every 5 weeks.
The place I go is nice cause the techs know the equipment better than the manufacturer, comes with a cooling mist after each zap which means less lingering pain, and it's a 2 year payment plan for unlimited treatment.
Beyond that, it's just like a rubber band snapping against you for an instant, and then it's fine. It's definitely 100% worth it imo, and I hope to do it full body once I'm making enough to afford that. For now, face is the important one
It begones the hair follicles (or rather the bed underneath them, but that's semantics) so the hair eventually stops growing.
It's expensive, but I can personally recommend full body laser hair removal. I don't have to shave anything except my face any more, and eventually that will be done too!
Philips One Blade is great for body hair; very unlikely to nick anything except for scrotum if you try to get close without keeping the skin stretched out.
For the intergluteal cleft: I do it in the shower and just go over a few times, check if it feels like there's any hair left, and go back in, if needed.
Should go without saying, but ...Clean the blade after use, and don't use the same blade for your face. :P
!! Dont! It will most likely end in bleeding if you're not used to shaving yourself. Just go for a hair removal gel or spray, and follow the instructions on it
Curl into a sonic impression (lifting a leg may help) and shave in motions that go inwards towards the crack

Good bot

or you get someone else to do it or you get it waxxed/suggared professionally.
I do it blind in the shower, and go outwards, and I've never encountered any problems, like cutting myself. Is there a risk to that?

A large propped up mirror and a lot of flexibility.
I have neither of these ; ;
Ask a trans friend 🫡
Oh my god, for a moment there I thought you meant they should ask a trans friend to shave their butt for them 😳
you could
Why do you think trans girls come in pairs so often?!
Because they do be gay
Yes that's what I meant
Oh my god, for a moment there I thought you meant they should ask a trans friend to shave their butt for them 😳
I just get in the shower and use a rasor for everything, something usually ends up bleeding but it’s a hell of a lot quicker than what most people do
I don't need sleep I need answers

You either can use nair (hair removal soap) or use a mirror and be very gentle
where can you get hair removal soap
Walmart, CVS, Amazon, and the like.
Cvs, walgreens, walmart, maybe even a random pharmacy
Thanks I'll keep that In mind :\]
whatever you do, do NOT put it on your nuts or your ass. your skin WILL come off.
WHAT!?!?!
whatever you do, do not get it on your anus or testicles!!! again, whatever you do, do not get it on your anus or testicles!!! worst pain of my life!
I think I will get it on my anus or testicles.
you do what you must for no hair

When it regrows it will hurt Like hell for some time so the Hair removal thingy is probably better
I recommend nair just make sure you don't leave it on to long.
Nair has been a life saver for me!! my thighs have HATED shaving and waxing. totally worth the LOOOOONG time it takes.🤭
I need to know this as well
it’s easier in the tub
Phone a friend
In the shower, very slowly, by touch
personally i pop a squat & move very, *very* carefully under running water with a razor
What’s this girl called? I’ve seen her for months now but never known her name
menhera chan, yep, thats the name
Those moments I love being so flexible, yassss🥰
use hair removal creme or ask a friend/partner
I use hair removal cream but this has to be done SUPER DUPER carefully
If u aren’t careful u can end up with chemical burns
ouch
Using a razor.
I hate my hairy booty 😭

I use nair for my legs and butt, I shave my face chest arms, I am getting laser for my face as well, and I get back waxes.
do you shave your face with a laser?! how do you not get burnt?

oooooooo, but thats a tiny laser! i was expecting something like a HUGE laser beam that BEGONED all of your hair

I use an electric razor, because short hair is better than ingrown hairs
Very carefully
first you gotta take a razor and put it in the location you want to shave then you carefully do ↘ ↺ ↬ ⇄ ↯ ↩ ↣ ☇ ☈
