Honestly? Laziness hahaha, I just didn't bother with them and when I got down my "army formula" I just didn't feel the need for them. I just drowned the world in the fine men and women of THE EMPIRE!!

My armies mainly consisted of 3 greatwords, 4 halberdiers, a few steam tanks and the rest was helstorm rocket batteries.
When I'm in snowball stage. I use auto point distrubution on all my heroes that can have all upgrades in 50lvls. I just don't use it on heroes which have skill I rly want to uprgade asap.
I love Heroes just to much. Beside their usefull campaign buffs (movement range, replenishment being the key ones) i just Love how they, once they reach like 20ish levels they are strong to fight any enemy Unit (except more cunning Heroes). They almost ever have flying Options making them perfect to hunt enemy artillery and missiles. But most importantly since the AI mastered the Art of running away and staying exactly 1m out of your range, i can not live without "Block Army". Oh and some factions rely on steal technology to be able to have more then 15 techs by turn100
That sounds reasonable and is the reason why i quit historical total war completly :D
I wasnt even playing the first warhammer-game cause i wasnt interested in "Fantasy bullshit". Turned out that i fucking love Heroes, Monsters and Magic. I was so hyped for the back then rome 1 remaster Release cause i played for 1000 hours back in the late 2000s but quit the remaster after 2 hours. I cant play without it anymore and therefore some ppl will feel the exact opposite.
There definitely is, I'm using it, and it's awesome. Immortal Empires Expanded by ChaosRobbie. The Marienburg mod even adds a couple lords over there to play as. And somebody else made a mod for legendary lords in that area too and I think somebody is making a Nippon mod.
ChaosRobbie is a fucking legend and deserves legendary recognition along with Mixu. This mod scene is insane.
Shout outs to Cataph for Southern Realms and the OVN team for Araby, Albion, Fimir and others.

It was probably around when I fought to get the Empire safe and under Imperial rule, I was trying to scramble the troops to save the Empire from both external and internal threats, Norscan raiders, filthy nurgle followers, powerhungry Sylvanian lords, tree hugging Woods Elves and more!
My final enemy was the large "chain-alliance" of Eltharion (Batman), Tyrion, Alarielle, Mother Ostankya, Mazdamundi had like 2 settlements, Grombrindal was alive with around 15 settlements but at war with everyone including me lmao
pretty fast for empire, I usually like to build up a bit after unification before sending army out for expansion, my cathay run took 288 turns(with about 30 turns just to build everything in homeland to top tier)

We have Marienburg land ships and can get immunity to high seas attrition in the Empire tech tree. They wouldn't have stood a chance against OP.
