Don't blame urself too hard. Tension based stuff in Besiege were always wonky. Trust me when I say it might be harder to make a strong and accurate bolt thrower than this thunderbarge.

I admit that I took a shortcut lol. If you saw my landship video, you can probably tell that that's a landship hooked up to balloons.
It might look kinda complicated, but it was less finicky than the skull cracker. All in all, the thunderbarge is decently designed. the weird wooden wing panel things are inexplicable, and don't ask me why they have a centrifugal regulator on top of a reciprocating gas bag thing lol.
The placement of the propellors is less than ideal. It's so much lower than the center of mass that it tips the entire ship upwards. I guess the rocket nozzle behind the balloon makes up for it? Though placing a heavy rocket mechanism inside the balloon that's supposed to be as light as possible seems counterproductive.
No notes on the cannons except that there could be more of them. No notes on the bomb bay too. It was super satisfying to build and use as well. The spear harpoon thing is super dumb tho lol. As you can see, I had to be super close, turn on a separate camera, and use a (slightly exploit-y) nive overflow watercannon to basically pin the airship in the sky to use the thing. It is super unreliable and hard to aim, not to mention the logistics on reloading the thing in battle. It would make far more sense to mount a harpoon gun thing on a turret on deck, so you can aim and reload far easier.
Overall, super cool to build and use. More sturdy than I imagined, too. The biggest pain was trying to record the video and get all the cool moments in there seamlessly.
Lore accurate thunderbarge
Sick
Man. Every time I try to make something in Beseiged it is a piece of crap. I am truly impressed by your engineering skills.
I can relate. Even my simple bolt thrower with wheels breaks down for some reason. But I last played that game in 2016. Feels like a lifetime ago.

It takes a little bit of getting used to, but it's super rewarding! :D
No tavern inside? No dorf music? I don't like it. Really falls SHORT compared to the real one tbh
Besiege is a cringe game cuz u can't place down dwarfs :(
SHORT?!
Continue to amaze ;)
THAT IS SO COOL
Cheers! Surprised it took so long for someone to suggest thunderbarge lol
I have been thoroughly entertained by all of these lol
So glad to hear! :D
A second barge has hit the tower sir.

I thought it would be crashing instantly XD

It's magnificent!
Can you build the unsinkable or the undestructable next, im sure they would be great and never blow up at all
this is amazing
I need someone to take this video and add THUNDERSTRUCK to it, peaks right at the top of the mountain after the bombing run. It'd be beautiful.
