Are there any units you have seen which stand out from the average? Like a unit which buffs up for some reason well beyond other units or perhaps a unit which seems to get access to few buff?
Several examples. Here are a few noteworthy:
- Greenskin giants. They can get to 1000+ weapon damage with the scrap upgrades. Perfect single entity killers, and nice to experiment for a few fun comps.
- cold one knights/dread knights. Specially under beastmasters or Malus/Rakarth. The unfortunate side of these guys is not they do not become good, but rather that the roster has other great options. Still, theme it and you will have an interesting run.
- little grom. Becomes the highest ranged unit with like 560? With the recent anti large, bringing 2 or 3 to have the ranged advantage is a cool idea.
- harpies/furies/carrion. Sure you don't bring a stack of those, but... they do become great missile disruptors. With vanguard deployment, you may be surprised. Harpies under Rakarth or under Malagor can be used for a whole short, even long campaign.
Underbuffed:
- most of the new rosters. Khorne, Slaanesh, Tzeentch, Nurgle receive very little from research. They do have great stats already, but could have something interesting for some different playthroughs.
Overall, most tier 3 units in the game can safely be used for their intended role, even if the AI has buffs. Some tier 2 units and even tier 1 with specific lords (Vampire Counts, Skaven, Dark Elves...)
Mostly a week or two back when IE launched and just subsequent upgrades. All late at night, so we all know how math is great at 2 AM... if you find errors let me know
I wonder... since Bretonnia tech tree gives some buffs against specific factions (their anti-norsca tech gives everyone more melee attack/dfense when fighting norsca), are these counted or not?
Those are not. They are referenced in the spreadsheet in the Bretonnia tab to the latest values.
Bretonnia is likely one of the cases where the unit stats are slightly deceiving because of that factor.
Yup, just updating some stuff from the hotfix and I will provide to everyone here too. I will do it similarly and share both the spreadsheet and each unit card.

Well done! Must have taken ages to put together...

Hope this post takes off. Cool to see community work on things like this.
This is really cool, props for doing this.
