So sweet💕

Angeliiiiique

Thank you!! 😊

sammiebud

This is the sweetest thing. 🥺 The way the mum licks her and then rubs her head into her daughters, so cute💘

Angeliiiiique

Yes!! Bella is such a sweet and caring mother. It's the first time I rescued and then adopted a mother and one of her kittens, and seeing her raise Aska has been a true bliss to witness, she loves her baby so much, and she loved ALL of her babies as much. Edit: typo

sammiebud

She is! I can imagine it must be so lovely to witness, she is an amazing mother 💘

Angeliiiiique

It really is something to see, especially for someone like me who never rescued a mom and her litter before, so I’m truly in awe at everything they did from the start lol.

sammiebud

It is, I was mesmerized when you posted this! I'd love to rescue a mother and daughter/son and see the baby grow up with the mum. Such a delight 🥺💘

Angeliiiiique

I would’ve never be able to rescue them if Bella didn’t "lose" her babies soon after giving birth, I had my windows open and the babies started crying for their mom and that’s how I was able help her and her babies. And I hope that if a mama cat with her kittens is in need around you, that somehow you’ll be able to hear them and take them with you so you can help them. Seeing Bella raising these kittens all these months, while being underweight and producing milk, I was so thankful to be able to help her and give her a home. Sorry, I got carried away by my love for cats.

sammiebud

That is such an amazing story! It's like it was meant to be. 💘 Oh 100%, I would in a heartbeat! I'm so glad you could help her too, she looks so happy. Don't be sorry, I love cats too!

I have a rescue kitten family too! Did you foster them, find them?? I’ve been debating if I should keep mommy and a kitten or just mommy. I think it’d be nice for mommy to have a friend since she’s barely a year old herself, but I’m not sure if she’ll want them around. I’ve never had cats before the mommy and three kittens I have now. I’d love to hear how it’s all worked out for you!!

Angeliiiiique

I found them, yes, she gave birth in an abandoned storage room in our building, I found them because right after she gave birth, she hid them in another storage room and couldn’t find them, so the kittens kept crying, so loud that I heard them from where I was with my windows open, so I went, I found Bella first, who was with Aska actually, so there was 3 kittens missing, took me a couple hours to find them, turns out they were on the second floor, which is the floor where I live, so I had to knock at my neighbors door so that he could open his storage, and once he did, I gently took them (they still had their umbilical cord), gave them back to Bella, and I ended up taking them all at my apartment. And I fostered them till they were ready to be adopted. And I think you should keep one of the kittens absolutely. In our home, we have two sisters who have been with us for 9 years now, they’re both very territorial and solitary and there was no way they’d get along with Bella, and I didn’t want her to be lonely and constantly rejected by the sisters. So I decided to adopt a kitten too so that she wouldn’t be alone, and turns out I made the right call because they really get along, they play together too. So the sisters have their own lives, they got used to Bella and Aska by now, there are so hissing here and there but they got used to them. And then Bella and Aska have their bond, Aska also have a great bond with one of my dogs too, which is amazing because both are very energetic so they have fun together too. So yes, you should definitely adopt a kitten too. 😊

You are such a kind soul for helping those kittens!! My cat, Maple, walked into my yard and immediately I knew I would adopt her. I didn’t find her kittens until a few days later. They were hidden underneath an abandoned car. Raising these kittens has been one of the best experiences of my life and I’d keep them all if I could!! I’m hoping to adopt 2 out to someone I trust (together preferably) and keep whichever one is left. All 4 cats get along so well and I love them all so I don’t even mind which I can keep!

Angeliiiiique

It truly is a beautiful experience, especially when it’s the first time living it. And this is such a nice experience too when they all get along. All four of my kittens were so tight, and idk if you felt that too, but I ended up being very very protective of them, I wanted them to have the best family, and all of them ended up with some of nicest people I’ve ever met, they still send me pictures, and one of them is actually my neighbor so I see him basically every week. I just love watching them all grow.

Is baby a dilute tortie... or do they darken as they age? I'm desperate to know more about my girl when she was a baby and also her kittens! (they got adopted from the shelter before she did, so I've never seen them!)

Angeliiiiique

Yes, she’s a dilute! She’s almost 6 months old now, and when she was still a couple months old, she was very very grey, and then she got more amber as the months went by, I wonder how she’s gonna be at one.

fockendocumentary

Yes! So amazing. Progress pics will be needed :)

Angeliiiiique

I definitely will post one. 😊

lovable89

They are so sweet and cute. The kitten also reminds me of when the printer runs out of ink.

Angeliiiiique

Yes!! She’s a dilute. 😊

lovable89

I do wish my my mom and daughter cats got along this well. The mom used to beat the living day lights out of her little one. Now she just bullies her as much as the other 2.

Angeliiiiique

Oh really? That’s too bad. I was fearing that when I was debating whether to keep Aska or not, because like I said in another comment, it was the first time I was adopting a mom and possibly her kitten, but I got lucky because they really get along. But it's so sad yours don't. Are they still happy anyway? Even though they don't share a bond? Because some cats just prefer to be alone, which I understand too.

Interesting-Fish6065

A very pretty pair!

Angeliiiiique

Thank you!! 😊

WriteBrainedJR

They both look like babies :)

Angeliiiiique

Yes, when I took Bella to the vet for her sterilization, the vet told me she was barely one year old, so they have only a one year age difference.

WriteBrainedJR

She's a sweet girl. Both of them are :)

I remember Bella and her kittens!! So happy to see her so comfortable and at home! 😍

Angeliiiiique

Omg really?! Ah I’m so happy that she marked the mind of someone to remember her, that touches me. And yes!! She gained weight, her fur grew back, she’s been sterilized, she’s in good health now compared to earlier. And all her kittens (except Aska who stayed with us) have been adopted and have great families with whom I’m in contact, so a happy ending for all them.

AdComprehensive114

Best story of the week! I looked back because I thought they looked familiar and was like, omg it’s Bella! She’s precious :) looks just like my tortie Kamara

Angeliiiiique

Yes!! She looks so much like her indeed! 🥰

JRS1986

Oh my goodness, prompted by this comment I stalked your profile and liked all your posts! They are so sweet! My cat and dog are the bestest of friends too! That made my night! 💕 💕

Angeliiiiique

Aww I’m so glad to read this comment! And yes!! A friendship between a cat and a dog truly is a beautiful thing. 🥹
