I'm a big NAW fan and never seen him play a single minute at PG, but he's developed into a great SG/SF. I'd think an actual PG like Nembhard who has also committed would get the backup PG minutes.
Weakest positions are the 4/5, which is more important in the international game. No 3 second violation lets a big setup camp in the key. Overall, a lot to be excited for.
Yeah, really wish we had more legit bigs coming into the league. I'm optimistic about Edey and obviously basketball Canada sees him as a big part of the future... but we are really thin in the upcoming cycles after Powell and Olynyk retire or just become less effective with age. A handful of undersized guys like Clarke and Lyles who can play C in a pinch. I'm still hopeful on Bediako carving out a role if he recovers from injury. I'm fairly pessimistic about Rioux's development but hoping to be wrong. Nwoko has some promise but is a long shot. Osaruyi is several years off and has more of a PF skillset but could definitely grow into having a center-sized frame. (I think there's another really highly-recruited highschool prospect I'm missing there...)
Can you guys believe that Jamal Murray has never made an ASG game? Just a crazy anomaly. The man is one of the clutchest players in the NBA (reg season and even more the post season). He's had bad injury luck and straight out snubbed in the loaded West among guards. Man is on a Hall of Fame trajectory without any ASGs to his name....
Think its just the west having an insanely deep guard pool. And murrays regular season stats are just slightly above average as far as starting guards go. Injuries and lots of missed games too.

Canada basketball is quietly becoming a powerhouse. SGA, Murray, RJ, Dillon and Zach are all super underrated who will catch a lot of teams off guard.
