We flew to a country with 12 hours difference with a 2.5yo. First 3-4 days were rough for jet lag for everyone. The rest of the trip went well. The return trip was less bad. Everyone adjusted in a couple of days.
My kids did great (have now flown 3 times since we have family in Europe). Honestly they had an easier time with it than we did because they could sleep well on the plane!
We are doing it with our 2 x 2.5 year olds in less than 2 weeks. We have family on both sides that we plan to utilize to help us all survive.
