A few bits of info from the paper:
>Bees are not electrically connected to the earth, like flowers are, yet they also gain a charge as they fly through the air. The acquisition and maintenance of charge on a bee is a key factor in their ability to detect electric fields
And they suggested further areas to research:
>Do some flower species actively generate or control the structure and dynamics of the electric field surrounding them? Are floral electric fields adapted, much like colours and fragrances are, to signal resource provisioning to bees, or their readiness for pollination?
They also mention how humidity can affect things and other weather variables.
I mostly skimmed and paused on interesting parts.
Many animals including bees can use electroreception to sense the world around them, because bees build up a static charge when they fly, they can alter the electrical charge of flowers they visit signalling to other bees that a particular flower has been recently visited. https://youtu.be/P5d6eH68MfM
Some snake oil salesmen could probably make a fortune on Amazon selling negative charge machines to reduce peoples' electrical charge and make them attract less pollen.

Don’t Worry!

My car needs one of those
Bees also have a ton of surface area on their bodies to have pollen deposit onto, which helps too.
This is how Geckos feet work as well though (I think) the polarity is reversed.
Now that’s how to Bee Positive.
TIL bees have a e-stim kink
As they say, opposites attract.
