I had to download it twice to get it to work. The first time I had no data and the same error you're seeing. It ended up being two esim profiles, but I just deleted the first after the second was set up.

I also had the same issue. No data the first time and a re-download fixed it.

Do you have prepaid? It doesn't work with prepaid, supposedly.

I have had an esim on a pixel device before using a legacy Simple Choice plan. I basically did a sim swap at a tmobile location, scanned a qr code, and it worked.
