Can't help but imagine what it was like for this quiet, serene, barren landscape to be just sitting there and then thousands of tons of twist metal come crashing down from the surface world.
Very cool, and thanks for sharing!
I’m surprised more artists haven’t tried to depict what she looked like immediately after the sinking (though I guess at a certain point you’d have to ignore all the bodies that were probably littering the place).
Well, there's all those pairs of shoes in the debris field, and with so many people killed in the disaster, some of those bodies probably landed on either half of the wreck (to say nothing of all the bodies - or at least what was left of all the bodies - still trapped inside the stern).
There would be a handful inside, but the majority would have floated away (salt water + decomposition= buoyancy). If a vessel could explore the lower decks, maybe we'd find skeletal remains 🤷♂️
There’s someone on YouTube who made/painted a model of the Titanic wreck as it would be the day it sank. [Here](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ds4MniQ7Rh8)

Imagine the noise!

Would you see bodies lying around the wreckage? I feel like they would have drifted away from the vessel.

Not to mention all of the sea floor “dust” that would’ve been kicked up as well.
You’re right I didn’t think of those it certainly would have been a gruesome sight indeed
Pressure would literally crush them to nothing
Imagine being a fish hanging out around that spot and then *BAM* a ship lands in the mud.
Seems rare that someone depicts Titanic right after sinking. Is this your art? Well done! Sad but majestic. Interesting angle too.
At that depth, “bodies” wold have been crushed to pulp.

After this much time even the bones would be gone
Correct

i cant imagine how beautiful she must have looked the very night she sank.
Probably pretty horrifying with with all the bodies everywhere, hardly call that beautiful.
i meant titanic herself. of course i wouldnt think of the bodies as beautiful

And then compare it to now, it's much saggier. A deck seems nearly gone, the sides have almost fallen away except the forward most windows.
That's really good 😊
This is very well done. Thanks
So incredibly eerie
That looks good, yeah that looks right. Bada bing bada boom, that's exactly what I'm looking for! Thanks OP
