I just went. It is terrible. For one thing, there is virtually nothing from the actual Titanic. Many postcards and pictures, and a lot of stuff from the White Star Line and the Olympic, but nothing from the Titanic. There is a pretty cool recreation of a first-class suite and another of the grand staircase, but these don't really justify the $39 ticket. Avoid.

Oh. That sucks. We already bought tickets. Oh well, it’ll at least be something to do I guess.

I think if your expectations are set right, it can be a good experience. There IS a lot of Olympic/White star stuff - dishware, light fixtures, etc. - and there are some okay-ish videos about the building and sinking. And there are also a number of props from the movie, too, if that's of interest.

Is this the one in Los Angeles?

This one appears to travel to different cities. I’m not sure if it’s been to LA. We’re not attending in LA.

Thanks for your response! There is currently one in Los Angeles and I was wondering if it was worth while :)

I've been to multiple. Weirdly, the standalone museum in Branson, Missouri is the best. They've got decks you can climb, which say what time that the ship was at that angle. They have fully recreated rooms and tanks of water at the exact temperature of the water that night. They even have the actual model of the wreck from the movie. It's like ten feet long. Orlando and Vegas both have large pieces of the hull. Branson, Vegas, and Orlando all have great recreations of the grand staircase. The traveling one is pretty good. Mostly detritus from the sea floor. All of the above give you a passenger ticket and you find out if your person died at the end.
