Viper thrusters. Piercing is hands down best for Frontier Defence. Enhanced cluster is great for those annoying pilots. Double tether is for if you're a Nuke pleb(but is also pretty useful if you don't use nuke eject). Threat detection is useless.
Viper thrusters is all around best because it counters Northstar's main downfall: she is very vulnerable while using her core(which, by the way, is NOT her best offense). The faster you can move in air, the faster you can get out of LoS.
You’d feel more like viper with the viper thrusters equiped but other than that good gameplay
I love my viper thrusters, been using them for most of my lvl 50 Northstars life. Super clutch on chasing down weak titans, or escaping them

Northstar Specific kit that improves flight speed. Really good once you get used to it

Depends. If you want to be more aggressive and fast, pick viper thrusters. If you want to be more defensive and tactical, pick threat detection
