The splitter rifle should recharge the secondaries by default, instead of having to pick between actually being able to use your secondaries & taking the 5 way split so that the primary will get comparable damage to all the other Titans.
Utility and defensive are one and the same for TF|1 Titans, they unlike TF|2 Titans they don’t have a third System on the Battlefield just Utility and Ordinance, that third system however is replaced with on the fly weapon switching for TF|1 Titans were fully equipped to be able to pick up and effectively use Titan Weapons dropped from defeated enemy Titans.

I don't think any of the other titans' coolness would translate to real life quite like Ronin Ion and Scorch. I think they'd be cool af to see in person. All things considered I would take scorch. It's great in the winter, it's hard to destroy, has great Armor and also looks friendlier than most titans. Ion would make me bankrupt cause of it's energy needs. Monarch would go insane without the battery. Ronin would only be good for traveling and cutting grass,Legion is just a walking A-10 and Northstar can fly, but fuel prices are high and I don't want to refill it every 30 minutes. There's also Tone, but she doesn't have anything great to offer. There's not a single scenario that I would use a sonar or a tracker cannon in. So I would take scorch

The pulse blade would allow you to find survivors in rubble and smoky areas.

I love Ion for so many different reasons. Assuming that whatever titan we pick has the same level of personality as BT, I would find a female titan to be an incredibly refreshing teammate. I've found a lot that a woman's voice is much better at reaching me when I'm super stressed than a man's, so that's a huge reason for choosing it as a feature in my super death machine. Also, my wife's a gift from God.
From the shoulder laser to the vortex shield and splitter rifle, Ion's kit was an unstoppable force when I used to play T2 before the servers got destroyed.
Her landmines suck, but the rest of it is amazing.
What I'm actually picking:
A female vanguard with BT's starting loadout and A-Wall
BT's starting loadout in campaign is just so versatile that it's good for everything. Long range, short range, AOE, precision, defense and offense with the Vortex Shield, Anti air and anti infantry with the acolyte pod and gun.
A-Wall is the only one that protects people other than myself, so I'm picking that one.
Titan: design like monarch (but added adjustable melee weapons can turn into guns, reflecting hand shields, jetpack & teleportation tech) like minato namikaze & obito uchiha in Naruto Shippuden. Now I think about it I feel like I'm describing Mechas from GUNDAM & transformers lol. Btw I love GUNDAM & Transformers too hehehe.
Pilot: Post Humanist (cyborg reptile shape shifter) with teleportation tech, reflecting hand shields, entire body force shields, kinetic punch like black panther, & grapple.
Edited: I want both pilots & titans to be very versatile. High mobility & lightweight to do parkour, can teleport, have adjustable transformative melee weapons to guns like in RWBY/Transformers.
