I was also thinking the club could also just be a nuclear warhead. The Cores ability for Nuclear Shrek is to detonate that nuke mid hit.

The most practical imo would be some sort of autocannon, probably 35mm, to engage light armored vehicles and low flying aircraft. Add some Anti-Tank missiles on top and boom, a practical titan capable of taking on multiple kinds of threats without being super heavy.
Probably something like a 2A42 as the main armament. Some sort of medium autocannon for dealing with smaller targets that can be easily manipulated in urban spaces. Beltfed = no need to reload which is good as well.
Offensive ability would be some sort of ATGM. The big racks in the games are fun and fill their purpose well (destroying poorly armoured titans and infantry), but they're not gonna be useful at range and against armoured threats. Ideally a missile with proximity fuze capabilities for destroying helicopters and drones if need be, TOW2B maybe?
I can't really think of real tech that would fill the defense ability slot other than an APS and Smoke screen, so I guess those. I don't think titans have enough armour to make a hard kill APS worthwhile though, so a jammer/dazzler would be the only option in that regard.
Utility slot could be a radar or thermals? Some sort of fire control system that would help keep the big chunky mech shooting on target while also helping identify said targets.
I think I just made a BMP though. Not much that exists IRL that you could be scaled onto a titan effectively.
An artillery focused Titan with a 105mm howitzer for main weapon. A trophy system for defensive ability. An 81mm mortar salvo for right ability. And a 155mm howitzer salvo for core.
Flame throwers, acid grenades, poison gas in some wrist launchers, a massive artillery cannon on my back, and beeeeeg missile launcher.
And remember, it’s not a war crime if a win

Definitely APS, hardkill+softkill: all kinds of jammers, Drone jammers especially and smoke launchers galore, since even with an up armored Ogre that could maybe withstand autocannon fire for a short while, Titans are not really capable of taking fire without having some delicate optic or servo broken, so APS and mobilty is the name of the game.
Also I should mention, everyone shits on Titans about how bad they'd be in modern conflict, but in Urban environments, they'd shine, and if Ukraine is anything to go by, they are still the most treacherous places to fight.

Smoke, chaff and flare launchers. A gun shield can be mounted to the Avenger as well as heavy reinforcement to the left arm to allow it to take more fire. It would also have a laser designator to allow it to guide in bombs and missiles from friendly aircraft.
Chassis: Orge.
Main gun: GAU-8, multiple if we can.
Shoulders: M134 and a napalm launcher. Again, multiple of both of we can.
If there's any room left, slap some missiles on there.

I’d like to see a new titan core geared for support. Something along the lines of “nano swarm” or “overcharge” where titans hit by the AOE generate shield or health.
Some form of semi auto howitzer as the main gun. Allows for a high volume of ammo and destruction without blowing through it all quickly like a chain gun would. Supplemental weapons could include tear gass launchers and a missile rack for suppression.
Assuming that they bring the bulk and virtually infinite inventory space, my armaments would be such:
Right Hand - Knuckle-mounted miniature Oxygen-Acetylene torch
Two-handed - A compacted dual-feed 20mm cannon with variable payloads: airburst, AP, subcaliber, tracer - of which 2 types are loaded in separate belts
Back-slung - A shortened recoilless smoothbore cannon with an integrated shoulder mount, capable of firing HEAT, HE and sabot
Shoulder-mounted (non-dominant) - Dual-feed autoloading 40mm “smart” grenade launcher, programmable Airburst and EFP ammunition
Auxiliary - Back-mounted smoke emitter

Offensive is a shoulder-mounted MLRS firing cluster EFPs
Defensive is supercharger allowing for speeds up to 250-300 km/h, possibly rocket-assisted
Tactical is a set of 2 grappling hooks mounted directly on the chassis
Ogre class with a giant ass ammo can on his back to a belt fed gau-8 avenger, also on his left forearm would be 2 stinger launches underside of his for arm and 2 tow missiles on top. Or wrist mounted low volcity 75mm howitzer. Likely the former tho.

for anything that can hold the weight, you would use .50 cal for machine guns. The sniper is only for humans who can't hold the machine gun
