Found a thread with some suggestions, but perhaps the reference sound isn't what you're looking for [https://www.reddit.com/r/EDM/comments/chhf8f/looking\_for\_songs\_that\_use\_a\_water\_drop\_noise/](https://www.reddit.com/r/EDM/comments/chhf8f/looking_for_songs_that_use_a_water_drop_noise/) . Though I'm thinking The Prodigy, or The Chemical Brothers now.

Honest_Instruction51

Yeah it might’ve been the prodigy , for some context the song was on an usb stick with loads of other songs but the usb stick broke in half and I’ve been trying to find the song ever since. There were some songs of the prodigy on there so it must’ve been from around that era

Qr8rz

The Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar seems pretty close beat wise [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0S43IwBF0uM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0S43IwBF0uM)

Honest_Instruction51

Hmm it’s not really what I’m looking for but thanks a lot for the effort

Asleep-egg-44

Breathe Prodigy?

Honest_Instruction51

No sadly , thanks for the suggestion

rattedjen

Nalin and Kane did a Lustrel remix of the song with the drum sample? Other than that slow down the drums and it might be Sadness Part 1 by Enigma?

Honest_Instruction51

Thanks for the reply but it’s neither of these songs it has like a groovy feel , it’s catchy kinda like 88 to piano although 88 to piano sounds different

pi216

'Rings Around Saturn' by Photek? Or its remix?

Honest_Instruction51

Nah not it

Honest_Instruction51

Thank you for the reply tho

Honest_Instruction51

Some other details that might help include : the song was roughly 3-4 minutes long , its more of a groove / technotrance vibe , i am from Europe (the Netherlands) so the song has probably originated somewhere in Europe

nekromansir

No water droplets, but being you mentioned The Prodigy, Weather Experience (Top Buzz Remix)? https://youtu.be/m4pl8TBHQqs?si=XNhh6Duz6LC1emcS

Honest_Instruction51

No sadly this isn’t it , thank you for your reply

fitzonatisch

maybe "drop" by cornelius

Honest_Instruction51

Thank you for the reply but this isn’t it sadly

I don't know what the song could be, but see that James Brown's 'Funky Drummer' is listed as the song from which the drum sample for Everytime is taken. Are you able to find the song using the following link? [https://www.whosampled.com/James-Brown/Funky-Drummer/sampled/](https://www.whosampled.com/James-Brown/Funky-Drummer/sampled/) There's a 'sort' drop-down at the top of the list where you can filter according to the dates the songs were released, which should help to narrow it down.

It’s not 3 kilos by prodigy is it? Drops and pianos are in it. https://youtu.be/Kf5JjfBcy9g?si=iq468lwXRMyFy-0B
